Really good food, but parking is a problem. Got told to park in a specific spot. When I raised the concern that I might get parked in, in that spot, I was assured that I won't be. I got parked in.

everything is perfect however its a botique so 10/10 for all. If you find a mistake in your order or something was not right you must have been having a terrible day.

Absolutely magnificent! If I could give 6 stars for the restaurant I would. We had the 5 course dinner with wine pairing and it was delicious! The staff were professional and catered for every need. Highly recommend.

Food is extremely well-presented - fine-dining experience. Excellent service. Have not stayed in the hotel itself, but has come highly recommended by friends and colleagues.

The waiter kept bringing the wrong wine to the table in the hopes of us ordering the more expensive option. The courses came too quickly after one another - it made you feel like they are trying to get rid of you. The desert was a bit of a let down. The menu advertised key lime pie, yet the desert served would probably be better described as shortcake with citrus cream.

What a terrible very expensive birthday dinner! It started with a starter that tasted absolutely vile. We ordered the duck confit starter. It had a tiny piece of duck, 2 hard bitter tasting parsnips and a blob of brown thick sauce. I started eating the duck and parsnips and kept tasting something extremely burnt, I checked the parsnips (which did not taste good) but they were not burnt, then I tasted the brown goo on its own to check, and what a horrible taste!!! It tasted as if charcoal was mashed up, mixed with some thickener and dropped on the plate, after that everything tasted burnt as if I licked out an ashtray. No amount of wine could wash the taste out of my mouth, the main course was a plain bare piece of steak with no taste at all, the desert was buttermilk and honey panna cotta, panna cotta again tasteless and bitter could not taste any honey, really not good.
After refusing to pay for the horrible tasting starter the chef came out and explained to us plebeians it is "burnt ash puree". Does one get people who are taste blind like you get people who are tone deaf? Did this chef taste that horrible charcoal goo they call "burnt ash puree", who would have thought someone would think serving burnt ash would enhance a meal? Burnt food tastes BAD BAD! It is such an overwhelming vile taste that everything after that tasted burnt. Unbelievable!!!
The plates looked nice enough and the service was good, looking at other reviews on this restaurant I am stunned. Seems if you charge people a huge amount, make the plate look nice, then it does not matter what it tastes like, it must be good.

This is the second year in a row we are at Click for our new years eve meal. Which must mean it is awesome. 6 course tasting menu with wine pairing..This year we even checked into the hotel and it is lovely.

We went for our second meal at the restaurant last night and was blown away. Not only did they remember both my name and my wifes (the booking was only under my name) but what drinks we liked and even what meals we enjoyed at our last visit three months ago. We have NEVER encountered service like this in South Africa, incredible. The foodby the way was magnificent.

I went to the Clico for dinner only. The hotel has a cosy setting with relaxed ambiance.We selected the 6 ,course tasting menu with wine pairing. Individually, the wines were good. The food was not to quality expected, nor was the food and wine pairing. The presentation of the food far exceeded the flavour and quality of the dish. The service was good.
