This is really unique place I was told that the movie "Rush Hour" was filmed here. There are everything within these walls. Even Hotels were convenient , there are like food courts, commuting buses between complexes, as well as casinos and 5 star spas. What more can you ask for?

Hotels have Friendly staffs, and great environment in an secluded "island city" in South Africa.The food were different for my taste. But I think it's cultural taste differences. Shower had great water pressure , with a bit of smell to it, but not too bad It's in the middle of nowhere, so, it's probably from well. Overall, I had great experiences.

Sun city my home away from home, the Best resort in South Africa. So many things to do and see just a bit pricey for Local south Africans but can't fault a thing from the cabanas to the vacation club the new Revamp to the hotels is fantastic. The free breakfast is a feast the swimming pools are always clean. The staff are friendly and efficient. My paradise. Need I say more.

This is a nice destination if you go for a week or weekend break, but if you spend more then a week it might be too much. Overall there is loads to do and can be very enjoyable stay. If you have kids Its better if you go when they are a bit older (3+). In September they have a "spring break" festival, i really enjoyed it on that one stay. And lastly DO THE ZIP LINE, its a great experience! if you want to fly, this is as close as you can come.

Always a great day out. Hotel and surrounding area is in a very good condition and location. A easy drive from Pretoria. Staff at the valley of waves are helpful and understanding. Ablutions are clean and in good condition. Water quality is good. The new water rides are a must. Parking is ample but the bus service from the day parking is very slow and at busy times can become frustrating.

One of a must visit place in Johannesburg. The only downside about this place is that it is far away from the main City. I stayed in 'The Palace of the Lost City', one of the hotels in the Sun City and trust me it is really a palace. The whole setup is huge and makes you feel grandeur about everything and anything you do there. The resort have loads of options for activities and adventure for one to keep engrossed for couple of days. And there's a casino as well. One can find almost every options of food, so no issues with that. The overall service is wonderful and if you are one of their hotel resident then no worries and be waiting. It was a lovely experience in total.

Sun City is awesome- lots to do and see (shows, movies, gambling, games, indoor and outdoor activities, water parks and swimming pools, dining for every taste, etc). Great for kids and grownups. No need to use your car once there.

When you are at the resort, reality and the outside world doesn't exist. It is a city on its own basically. All you will ever need, anything you could think of doing is there to do. Service, is top class, the atmosphere and energy at sun city is just relaxed and totally laid back. The true meaning of a break away in top class luxury. You will feel like a King/Queen while you visit sun city. Safe and enjoyable for young and old. Just Amazing..

Sun City is filled with entertainment for the whole family. Visit the valley of the waves for a fun day in the sun or test your luck on the Blackjack tables. You are bound to have a good time.

First time visit and very impressed with everything. Played golf on both courses - superb. Went on a game drive in Pilanesberg National Park and saw all the big 5 up close and personal. Stayed at the Soho hotel which was excellent in every way especially at breakfast time on the pool deck. Would recommend this resort to anyone. Excellent value for money.

Great resort. Lots of activities. I recommend 4 nights maximum stay otherwise there wont be much to do after that. My son really enjoyed it.

A much better experience after it's revamp in 2016. Bright and modern with a good food court selection. The other amenities on hand such as game drives, golfing, etc. are worth exploring.

Great Place to relax. Staff are friendly and helpful. Valley of the wave is awesome to enjoy the day in the sun and a great venue for a family get away. It is a bit pricey for a day trip!

Great place to relax and enjoy. Lots of things to do & places to enjoy. Wave pool is very good. Nice clean & well maintained rooms. Freindly staff. Bit expensive.

True 5 star hotel at the lovely Sun City resort.
Really nice decor and great service in keeping with its 5 *.
They really treat you well here. Shuttle available at any time to anywhere in the resort.
Valet parking.
Great views from the rooms.

Pricing is on the high side as you pay to enter for a day visit and pay to enter the wave pool. However this is a premium holiday destination that has a great amount of activities to do. Spent my honeymoon here and we honestly had the time of our lives. Since we have been going back with the kids enjoying the wave pool with sea sand as we long for the that beach feeling. The slides are absolutely fun.
