Fantastic hotel with lovely big rooms. The place is spotless and the breakfast is amazing. Definitely recommend.

Visited with family. Kids enjoyed pool. As you all know from reviews, rooms are small. The whole sun city resort area tries to simulate a disney world/land experience. But still has a long way to go. maintenance and attention to detail is the issue. Little things like fixing breakfast tables legs, sun umbrellas, cleaning walkways, filling vending machines need attention. But remember you get what you pay for. Overall an enjoyable experience but doubt if I will come back.

Good value for money. Stayed in the lake view wing top floor. Stunning views; birders will like it. Also plenty activities in close proximity especially the aquatic type.

The rooms are small but comfortable. The bathroom is roomy and clean. Breakfast is awesome! So much variety of fresh foods and eggs can be ordered "customized". It's crowded but there are sufficient tables for guests. We had no waiting time at all. Service is also very good. A lot of staff and very helpful.

Lovely, very friendly staff wow and what a pleasant welcome. We love Cabanas, and will bring our kids around it's a place that's very friendly to them as well. It accommodates the whole family

Front desk staff were not that friendly, rooms were very nice although one of the main plug points did not work. Breakfast had a good variety even for those staying away from meat. the position of parking is poor in relation to where most of the rooms are located. The Bus service was good but the busses donot come to the bus stop in the evenings (even though the reception staff told me to wait @ the stop to be picked up.)

The staff are all helpful and friendly. The rooms are very cute with their blue, orange and green colours, which gives it a very modern look. The beds sleep very comfortably, especially with the dark curtains which gives the delusion that it is still dark outside. The buffet breakfast is amazing, lots of different choices to choose from. And lying by the pool is very relaxing. I would highly recommend it to anyone who comes to Sun City. Cabanas is a great hotel, and I would love to come here again.

Loved it, great base to explore Sun City Resort from! The breakfast buffet is superb, even liked the bees😁, We had a lovely concierge, Lesley, whom was extremely helpful and friendly. Enjoyed it so much, I actually became part of Vacation Club, and will be bringing rest of family next year. But you must actually warn people who are allergic to bee stings, that bees are part of the locals, just as you have "SLIPPERY WHEN WET" disclaimers EVERYWHERE😂.

Extremely overpriced. At this price I would expect the toilet to be working. The basin in the bathroom was blocked and toilet constantly dripping despite us reporting it to staff. Had to wait for extended periods of time to be seated for breakfast and then again for service at breakfast. Despite this, some of the staff are very friendly and try hard. Sun City was also enjoyable as a whole.

I booked a room with lakeview and the rooms where nice and clean and felt new but it was too small and we had a hard time finding a space for our suitcases.
The breakfast buffet is good though and the area is nice. There is not much going on at the hotel and you'll have to take the free shuttle bus to go to the other placesresponse / report this review -

Had a lovely stay at the Cabanas. The remodelling is wonderful. Clean and modern functionality is the order of the day. Please note that you get what you pay for - reasonably economical rates means very tiny rooms and bathroom but with the Valley nearby you won't be spending too much time in the rooms. Huge buffet breakfast is also a boon.
