Just a walk around a maze to find your way to the end . you met a bar at the end. Quick routes available at the right.

There is also a roof top access at the end of the maze.

You get free voucher at the gate to collect R10 flavored ice or beer at the end of the maze.

Adults pay R120 to enter the maze.. Children from 6years pay R60. Below 6yrs free.

Fun day for family and friends. R75 odd per person to get into Sun City and then R160 pp to get into Valley of the Waves. Storage lockers for hire but only takes cash in the exact amount - no change given. The wave is fired off every 10 min or so. The tubes/slides are definitely worth the queues.

Awesome venue for a great time at the valley of waves. Clean, well maintained and recently upgraded. Worth the trip for day visit but hotels can be pricey if you want to stay over

Such awesome potential, but the water is seldom clean and tons of chlorine only makes it worse. In school holiday times it is so packed that it is a scary prospect to leave young kids to play alone and generally unpleasantly over-populated. Most staff looking after rides are so disinterested and glum that they immediately dampen the lively spirits in the rest of the queues. Overall the kids loved it, parents not so much.

Bridge not working as well as all other animated features. Could not return as it was closed for a private function. Not enough toilets and dressing rooms for people allowed into the grounds. Lots of Spielberg's must hanging around especially at photo booth. Good thing is that one worker offered my elderly parents a chair to sit on while watching the kids. While the close at 5pm the wave pool close much earlier

So much fun for the whole family. All the good old favourites were open and if you get there early you should be able to miss the queues.
Loved the 2 new slides, where the floor drops out from under you and the double tube with the vertical wall finish.

It does get crowded during peak days ie month end, weekends. Also the food they serve is not too good but there's a whole mall just a few feet outside the valley of waves.
There's a variety of water slides/rides and at every spot there are lifeguards posted.
So it's an all round perfect fun place to enjoy the sun & the water.

Excellent water park experience. Every visit has been wonderful. A good variety of activities offered. The slides are extremely enjoyable and can keep the kids and adults entertained for hours. The design and architecture is simply stunning and is incorporated very well into the theme of the Lost City. A popular destination for holiday makers. Clean and well maintained.

Nice place.. awesome place. What I didn't like was how they spread information about their rules and regulations . What happened is that we were told no outside food is allowed meaning we have to buy food in Sun city, then we asked if food is allowed in the valley of waves, the answer was yes. We bought food when we arrived at the entrance we were told no food is allowed in the valley of waves. Other than that the place is awesome ohhh and they do sell food inside valley of waves. Enter the place on a full belly or wallet.. it's fun

It's really fun for both adults and kids. We sat around in the islands, had a few drinks then went into the waves. We went on all the slides, and those new ones are really fun. After we had had our fun, we went up to the Roman baths and relaxed. Very great experience overall.

The valley of waves is a nice place to hangout on the beach. The beers are relatively cheap and same with the drinks. There is a separate adult only pool area.
The only bad thing to say is that the sand is very coarse. I wish they had used finer grain sand for their "beach"

Great fun for the whole family. The waves could come more regularly. The sand is really rough, I recommend replacing with finer sand. The hot rough sand together with wet feet makes your feet raw! Don't go on a public holiday too busy!

Always a fun place. Loved the new slides. Incredibly fun and I cannot wait to go back. There was a couple there who must have really loved the place so much as they got married right there on the beach.

Lovely when not packed but the prices are ridiculous.It is R60 per person to access the resort plus another R160 +_ per person to access valley of waves. The drinks and food are also pricey' rental of towels cost 80 plus deposit.Once you have emptied your pockets prepare for a great time in the water. Kids love this place, I had to drag mine out of the water
