  Beautiful hotel and lovely friendly staff. Plus great game drivers! Our driver, Sam, was brilliant and we saw so many amazing animals thanks to him!
  The hotel was beautiful, clean and luxurious. The outdoor shower was fab. The room was cleaned twice a day and all the staff were helpful, smiley and friendly. Plus the food was absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend!

  What an absolutely amazing lodge. The staff are so helpful and obliging. Accommodation is lovely with huge beds and the outside shower truly puts you in nature. The food was all so delicious and they offer something for everyone

  Beautiful Lodge! Neat and well decorated. The staff was warmed and helpful. Were pleasantly surprised after dinner the before our 20th Wedding Anniversary. Shepherds Tree Lodge @ Pilanesberg National Park, you're the best 👍🏾💖🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

  Most luxurious bush getaway!
  The lodge was absolutely amazing. Beautiful, spacious accommodation (executive suite) and great food (actually too much food). Staff were super friendly and the game drives were fantastic. We did not expect to go on so many game drives but it made sense in order to cover the entire park. At first we had a dodgy vehicle and broke down close to the hippo hide but the entire situation was handled very professionally. Thanks to all that were involved and to Jason who had our best interests at heart. Jason was a great ranger, we learnt some interesting facts and he made it fun and enjoyable and really put in effort to try and find us some cats. The first few drives were annoying as we had 2 obese people with us and we were a bit squashed in the vehicle so I would suggest only having a couple per row instead of 3 people. They also need to change the blankets for Winter so that they are thicker or take your own with. It was a really chilly. We also went to the spa and the ladies were great but I was quite shocked that they asked for a gratuity at the end. I've never been asked that at a spa and that was quite annoying. Other than that, we had a superb stay and I will be returning!
  Room Tip: Executive suite was awesome and spacious. Also we heard that the standard suites don't have TV

  They made sure our stay was perfect from the very moment we arrived. The staff is friendly and helpful , the rooms are great, the food is awesome, the safari were breathtaking. They just went beyond our expectations. Would definitely come back if given the chance.

  Excellent luxury game lodge. Offering dawn and dusk game drives in pelanisberg game reserve. Fine food for breakfast, lunch and dinner in an agreeable atmosphere. Luxurious lodges offering all amenities. Private parking available as well as to Johannesburg.

  Five star experience. We were spoilt from the minute we arrived , being dined with amazing cuisine as well as being pampered to a pulp . The staff were super friendly and accommodating in helping my fiance propose to me , and the rooms were exquisite. We loved the game drives and had an awesome game ranger -Yolandi .

  A fantastic place to get away from the world. Nothing beats two daily game drives sandwiched between 5-star accommodations.

  The service is very magnificent,the place and it's location in pilanesberg it's invigorating and rejuvenating, the ambience in the room including this enormous scent it's hilarious. As for the food you wouldn't add a kilogram very healthy meals prepared by the chef and the desserts you couldn't ask for more. Now I'm enjoying the rain and watching through the verandah
