Superb Five Star Game Lodge. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed top notch hospitality during our stay. They have fine cocktails and offer two guided game drives per day on the inclusive package.

Beautiful peaceful and exciting place to stay. The hospitality was exceptional throughout our 5 day stay. The game drives were out of this world. So many sightings. Strongly recommend staying!

Friendly staff. Very good location inside the national park. But there are no TV in the room even lobby. Also there are no Wifi in the rooms. WiFi at lobby are nit fadt enough. Showers are open to air, so there is no privacy. Its FB so you don't have to worry fir eating everthing is included.

A great place if you have a private bungalow.

We had a great safari experience all days. We met 4 of the Big Five! There were a lot of rhinos, giraffes, a group of lions and a leopard were just meters from our truck, elephants, hypos, we even accidentally catch a small crocodile while eating a bird!

Due to circumstances we had our bungalow changed with an exclusive suit which was really the most awesome looking place!

There's one But - the bed doesn't have a cover to keep you safe from bugs falling from the beautiful natural roof.

I stayed at Ivory Tree for 3 days in June and was overall pleased with the experience. I went on the safari 6 times and saw the big 5 and many other species, including a rare sighting of the honey badger! Our guide was great and was as enthusiastic about the animals as the guests were. The staff was friendly and courteous, but the food was sub-par in flavor. However, if you are an adventurous eater, they served many things I had never tried - ostrich, crocodile, kudu, warthog. I stayed in room 53, which I loved because the patio directly faced the reserve. The room was clean and I enjoyed the outdoor shower. Would recommend this lodge to anyone looking to visit Pilanesburg.

Booked into Ivory Tree for the weekend and stayed in Room 50. Landed up coming home the very next day. What a rip-off - they claim to be a 5 star lodge??? I highly doubt that. No TV, no room service, no stocked mini-bar, cracked tiles in the toilet, curtains falling off the rail, and when going to dinner that evening they didn't have enough chairs, so they gave us plastic "pull-out" chairs to sit on. Food was sub-standard and definately not 5 star grade. Sorry Ivory Tree your grading needs to be reviewed by TGCSA??

We had high expectations of Ivory Lodge, however there were a couple of things not up to standard. We stayed at C9 and when we were showed our suite, the first thing that lifted our eyebrows was the bar fridge that was not stocked. The second thing was that we could not find the outside shower we were told and the privacy on the outside was not existing. We did not experience exclusivity as we had hoped. The highlights were definitely the food ( hats off to your chef and griller), your reception was friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help and on the game drives we saw all of the Big 5 ( our first time!) thanks to our guide Werner Schoeman .
