Good client service. Neat tidy rooms. Restaurant menu limited and service slow. Expect at least one hour for dinner.

The parking area is also worst not planned well, there's traffic lights there 😂

Location alone is 5 plus. Service at front desk pleasant and professional. Rooms are spacious clean and you even have your own iron and ironing board

Clean, neat, chic. Very well maintained hotel, though the views are disappointing. Stayed on the fifteenth floor but only view was a construction site. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to the ocean with good location near to the top restaurants. Very well priced.

Very good hotel, clean with good service and restaurant. Positioned right next to Gateway shopping centre which is convenient but unfortunately also noisy. I found there was quite a lot of street noise until late.

The Hotel is strategically situated and easily accessible. It's very close to the Malls. The hotel room was neat and cleaned everyday. The customer service was good. The restaurant menu was standard and I found the rooms to be cold - the aircon's heat function did not work at all.

The facilities are top notch and in line with a 4 star rated hotel. The views from the rooms are worthwhile and it's located a reasonable distance from the airport. Unfortunately the service is not 4 star and requires work.

Good hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Five minutes from Umhlanga Village and ten minutes from the beach. Lots of restaurants and shops in the vicinity, largely thanks to the Gateway Shopping Center across the road.

the hotel is very close to mall and some night spots. if you want a quiet peaceful sleep this place is not for you on the weekends. the Windows facing gateway are not sound proof,and we could hear partying,cars and noise the whole night through. the 2 bedroom unit was nice though as kids have their own room.

Basic hotel but clean and convenient. Next to the mall and lots of eating joints. Can get a bit busy at times and the gym is not too great. But the staff is helpful and courteous.

A very convenient and short walk to Gateway is an excellent drawcard. The very high quality and standard of rooms places the hotel in the top category of Protea group of Hotels.

It is not disturbing in any way it is very close to the mall and there is a swimming place called: Wave Land. For the kids and it is a very secure place.

The service at this hotel is absolutely shocking, the word service implies some sort of action to that effect of which there is none at this hotel. I often visit on business due to it's convenient location across from Gateway Theatre of Shopping and Virgin Active. Sad to say, the terrible experiences at this hotel far outweighs the level of convenience. Unfortunately I still have 2 nights left of my stay but rest assured this will be the last visit.

My fiance and I had the most amazing experience at the hotel. I booked a standard room using my Prokard and It was my fiances Birthday so I wanted to do something special. I spoke to Carmel and requested a little dessert for the room. What we received when we arrived was more than we asked for. We were upgraded to a beautiful room with amazing views and there was wine and chocolates with a special birthday message as well. The hotel staff were amazing and treated us like royalty. The hotel was very clean and posh! I would definitely book again. What an amazing place!
