Overpriced, tasteless food. Venue is excellent and staff are very freindly and well trained. My recommendation is to keep the menu but get a new chef. Had one slice of my pizza that i ordered and then promptly threw the rest out.

A gem hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Parys! Such a beautiful setting and great food. The kids loved watching the Koi in the old pool and running around the garden. Book in advance if you want to sit close to the river - what a beautiful view!

Lovely sitting out under the shade of the trees with a glimpse of the Orange River. Tried a traditional African brisket dish with bread cooked in a tin with vegetables. Meal was delightful. Would recommend. Two old ladies sat on a bench sipping their drinks, gazing on the scenery and having a chilled afternoon in good company. A lovely spot in Parys.

Outstanding service and very fast. The outdoor sitting area at the river is great with a beautiful garden. One would expect the menu to be less heavy for such place. Good selection of steaks. Make sure to ask for the sauce to be served on the side if you like to be in control of your taste buds. Nice location. The restaurant's outdoor seating area would benefit from more lights at night. The sound of the crickets and the river make you feel as if you're in the tropics.
