It's in a perfect spot and the food & drinks are generally good. Service needs work. There are better places in the area.

I will love to go there again and again. Balcony view recommended. It's windy though but still serves the purpose of seeing Mountain and ocean. Food is awesome though.

I visit newscafe fairly often, and the food us usually really good. Cocktails are on the pricey side for what you get. Lots of ice and watered down is not great for taste. The service is okay. Have had some good experiences (nothing amazing) and some not so good ones. Great breakfasts, and location. I'll continue to visit for those reasons.

Great place for sundowners and to enjoy the beautiful table Mountain View. They play good music. Not my scene as a restaurant but definitely. Good venue to have drinks. Cost and attracts a younger crowd. Their alcohol prices are also quite reasonable as well.

A bit pricey if you're a local, but then again the majority of bars and restaurants on the beachfront are in the more-than-average price range with their menus and drinks. I definitely recommend News Cafe to tourists or if you're looking for good quality cafe food. Staff is always accommodating and all in all, I always have a good service when I decide to treat myself here every now and then.

Different to most news cafés, the sea views and separate dance and dine areas is refreshing. The service is worthwhile and the drinks are priced as per similar establishments.

Love this place! Chilled vibe, perfect view on the balcony. One of the nicest venues for a breakfast in Tableview.
Only downside is that the smoking area is located upstairs where the view is the best If you are a non-smoker bothered by smoke, you will have to sit downstairs.

Only a short stroll from Alpha du Cap Guest House, situated along Beach Boulevard, you will find News Cafe Table View, a contemporary restaurant / bar with an upbeat soundtrack, all day breakfast, great food and cocktails. The waiters are friendly and service is usually fast. It can get a little busy and the waiting times can vary but it's still a sure bet for a good meal in a relaxed setting. I particularly enjoy the vibe and great views of the Atlantic Ocean. Perfect for a snack or cocktails with friends.
