Really a very surprising stay over for us..Just FANTASTICscenery is to die forrunning stream passes the buildingswild antelope grazing on the lawns..great restaurant andveryconfirtabke and reasonable accommodation.
Will surely go back to this little piece of paradise.

Nice place to stay, with very friendly and helpful staff. Lodge could have been cleaner, lots of bugs inside. Lovely swimming pool!

It’s a great location. Surrounded by mountains. Very scenic. There is a hiking trail. If you are a strong mtb rider you may be able to tackle the climb. There are activities like 4x4 drive at a cost of R2500 for 4 persons to explore the surrounding area. The rooms are comfortable. It has a lounge for relaxing. There is a braai facility for every room in the small patio which overlooks the farm where you can see little ponies, deer and sheep. The breakfast area is good enough. There is a swimming pool.the doors are difficult to open and the keys keep breaking.

The Oude Meul lodge is one fantastic lodge,as a national tour guide,I get to see and stay at many fantastic places.
De Oude Meul fits into that category of one of the fantastic places.
I would recommend it to anyone visiting this side of the world

Beautiful setting, quiet environment. The main pool has a big area where residents can sit so the rooms are quiet. The restaurant offer really good food and all together it adds to a relaxing breakaway

Beautiful place. Wel maintained and nice rooms. Breakfast is good and the restaurant.. You must visit. Had dinner twice and it was perfect and believe me as a hospitality professional I now what I'm talking about.
