Excellent service in the emergency unit. Got attended and treated very quickly and excellent service all round, and it was very busy. Great staff.

Clean hospital. Marked clearly to see where you should go. Patients get bottled water which I think is marvelous. Hospital staff helpful.

Absolutely the best hospital. We've been treated here multiple times.
Right from the ER staff, maternity ward, pediatrics and other wards we've always been treated with the utmost kindness, helpfulness and competences.

Nursing staff are considerate and extremely accommodating.

We've recently been to another (newer and more modern) hospital in Pretoria, and I've just been reminded of how thankful we should be for Unitas and their amazing personnel.

I only had the best of the best. From reception right through to Ward 2B. There was so much love and caring. That I cried when I left. I didn't want to go home. The staff and doctors showed their love and care towards their patients. I haven't received so much love and attention. En many many years. All I can say thank you Netcare Unitas. I love you guys.keep it up.

Well received when mother of 90 was rushed from a Stepdown clinic. Clean hospital. That is where it ends. One hand does not know what the other is doing. On Friday the docter said that she can be dicharged on Saturday and that they the hospital (Erika, case manager), Dr. janse van Rensburg and or Thiart arranged for her to go to the Stepdown place in Klerksdorp. My sister drove all the way from Klerksdorp to come and fetch her. The nurse or sister (white) at the ward 1 A at first did not know anything then later said she can go and that the arrangement was made. I asked if there is any paperwork to take with. She said no.
At my sister and mothers arrival in Klerksdorp they did not know anything about her admission there. They had no correspondence. The GP in Klerksdorp (Van Deventer) refuse to see her as he does not know the history. ( She fell and broke her arm and pelvis a month ago) Whe cannot get hold of ANY of these docters Will definitely take this up and report all concerned to higher authorities.

From our arrival we were treated friendly and professionally. We did not wait at any time during the booking in of the patient. The staff were very helpful and well trained. We were explained in detail by the supervisors of each unit what to expect and also answered all our questions in detail. Even the doctors spoke to us casual and answered our questions which normally do not happen. Thank you second floor staff for the good service we received.

I was a patient at this hospital last year following a brain aneurysm. I received great and personalized care from all the staff starting from ICU to high care, then regular ward. The team of neurosurgeons I had was owesome. They all eased my husband's anxiety and worry and gave me complete healing. I can't thank all the nurses and physiotherapist enough for all the personal time they gave me. I made a lot of new friends. My husband loved the selection of food at their cafeteria. Great hospital to receive healing.

@Burger Radiologists - 07 November 2017. I was a walk-in patient sent by GP to get a Sonar scan done. All my details were handed in to reception at 10:20.
I was informed it would be a 2 hour wait till I get the scan done and receive results. From 12:20 I asked reception twice as to how many patients before me and they kept saying I'm next. At 13:35 I was informed I will be the 1st walk in patient they see after all booked patients are seen to. It is now 14:10 with still no indication as to when I will be seen to.
Definitely will NOT recommend this place to anyone looking to get scans or xrays done.

My husband recently had several stays at the Unitas hospital in Centurion. We found it clean, run efficiently and the nursing staff in intensive care and ward 1E were for the most part charming, helpful, kind and skilled. The care in the ICU was outstanding. Although being in hospital is never nice, the care provided made it the a positive experience. Thank you.

One of the worst experiences I ever had waited two hours in emergency to get an x-ray, yet the accounting department came 5 times had me sign three different paper to make sure they get paid even though I told them at the very beginning and each time I was going to pay cash. This is not a hospital is a financial institution. I feel sorry for that segment of the population that do not have insurance and cannot pay cash what a terrible experience.

It is useful to be aware of the cost just in case you have other options or can wait until regular doctor can assist.

For an emergency to have stiches under a child's chin the hospital bill is R900 and the doctor's bill is R1000.
