I am very impressed and happy with Dr Albertyn and Dr Schwartz reception ladies. They are absolute stars!! Always ready to help and they are so kind and patient. The doctors are amazing too. I will recommend them to anyone. You always feel comfortable and welcome there.
I was diagnosed with stage 1b cancer and had a breast lumpectomy followed by a double reconstruction. The hospital was clean, staff were warm and anticipatory, the food was good and the bed comfortable. Most importantly, they were responsive to my request for no pain meds, as I manage my own pain experience and was pain free.
Goog Dokters and nurses. Hospital wards are very good and clean. Easy access to the outside, where you can enjoy n peaceful time. Only the food needs some more flavour and work.
Exceptional staff.. Patient oriented. Go out of their way to ensure you feel at home. Impressed by the way they do every little thing to ensure their patients receive the best care they could possibly offer. Great views especially around sunset. Take a huge amount of pride in their cleanliness, which is vital in their line of service.
Once checked into the proper hospital, things were great, but the ER experience was nearly as traumatic as my incident itself. I had a critical emergency and had to wait 2 hours in the waiting room before seeing the triage room. In there the staff was impatient and rude, and after that there was just one doctor on staff for 51 patients. The doctor didn't give much attention to me, and only hours after I arrived at the hospital did I get the care I needed. I mentioned this in my feedback form and got a very insincere apology and the person who phoned me was very insistent that things happened differently than it did (blamed it on shift changes, made a passive aggressive comment about 99% of other people being happy there and also made a comment about my mother working there, not sure if that's some kind of threat because it lacked any other context). They also claimed I only got there at 7pm, but I got there at 5pm and basically waited long enough in the waiting room to see the whole Titanic. The ER is really poor and really doesn't take responsibility for their poor service. The rest of the hospital was very clean and professional though.
We had both of our kids here. Maternity ward was good for the 7/24 hours 4 days each kid i've spent there.
My wife did have some complications with spinal and they gave her anesthesia. Recovery was a bit of a hair raising experience also as none of the nurses could find veins so they kept on stabbing her.
Also with the delivery of our second child the delivery nurse got confused and chased me away and I never saw my kid taking her first breath.
If not at Karl bremer, you will come right here!
My wife were here for 3 nights and the time ive spend here i did not see or hear something to complain about. The staff were friendly and seemed capable. The docters were great!
After visiting my family friend, i was shocked to see how long it took the staff in High Care Unit to attend to his needs. He was in a terrible state and required attention urgently, yet the nursing staff was oblivious to his needs.
Excellent maternity ward, staff friendly and professional. Staff also take good care of patients and treat them with respect. Keep up the good work!!!
I went there for x-ray. The 1st day it was system down. The 2nd day i took x-ray after waiting 1 hour and they said that the x-ray report would not be prepared because of it's system but if i come tomorrow, i would take it immediately. The 3rd day i was waiting a half an hour while they said it would take 5 minutes. I left the hospital and when i got to the parking lot they called me saying its prepared. I went back. Again they made me wait for a half an hour.
