The lady who answered at the maternity ward this morning 22 March 2018 at 12:30 is so rude! She has no way of speaking. I was put through to the maternity ward by the switchboard and that lady asked me why am i phoning her. Pathetic person to be working in a healthcare facility. I shouldn't even say she is a lady, she's just classified as female to me that's it!!

I was very disappointed with the service my daughter received after she gave birth and became a mother for the first time. She recrecei no help from the sisters on duty regarding bathing, feeding or caring for her new baby The sisters offer no support or guidance so ifiyou thinking of going there to have your baby don't. I would rather go to Groote Schuur Disgusting display of service for first time moms.

Was rushed to hospital due to excessive blood loss resulting of missed carriage. Waited about less than an hour as gynecologist was busy with emergency case. Was prepared for and admitted to theater. The procedure was explained to me and the doctors, staff nurses everyone was absolutely friendly, empathetic and helpful. That was my experience. Thank you

We went there o Monday night 19/2/2018 just before 9 pm. Hubby in lots of pain can hardly wark. At 7am thues we were stilll not help. Only 2 dr on duty they say. Abd shifts were changing. We will see specialis tomorrow and pray to God is must not be kagereen .

This is where you go to die.
took my son in with a confirmed appendix at 9 am.
The doctor said we will be helped in an hour or so.
at 3:30 om we were still waiting to be helped and my 17 year old son was in so much pain that I felt totally helpless.
We left to go to N1 city hospital and with help from friends and family managed to get the deposit.
45 minutes later he was in surgery with a burst appendix

The service sucks to say the least. Waited for more than 7 hours to see a doctor on an appointment made a month ago. Nobody gives a damm, a prison inmate walks in and gets helped immediately, they tell you to be patient you will be helped, when next year poor service.

I hate tht hospital i phone for two weeks to look a patient there no one answer second put u on hold an third tym drop phone my hear.yesterday i wen to hospital i found da patient im so happy i found him bt his condition does look good at all looks like da doc ,nurse there want make him more crazy

My 94 year old mother who was brought in by ambulance due to pain was given nothing for the pain in the 8 hours since she was submitted. She cannot walk on her own and is incontinent and was not taken to the loo once either. Pathetic. It is actually - 1 star.

Mother in 4A, every day docters give you different advise or feedback.does they know which patiants are they referring to when speaking to families.they dont wash or feed their patients..this hospital need an upgrade and qualified docters.

Had a vasectomy under local anaesthetic. I was well treated, theatre staff were very nice and conditions seemed good, hygienic etc.

I had a abruptio on the 18th of January 2017 what a traumatic experience id like to commend the doctor's who performed my emergency c section and also the nurses you guys were amazing i was not even a patient at the hospital and i was helped as soon as i was brought in i gave birth to a healthy baby boy at 37 weeks God bless you all i am forever greatful.

Thank you thank you and once again THANK YOU. The emergency ward is world class, went in suffering from heart palpitations within mins of walking through the door was being treated by a doctor. They kept me well informed the whole way. Their professional attitude help relax me in this stressful time. My wife who kept phoning to check up on me was treated with great respect and patience.
Great Doctors, great nurses would go there before any private hospital any day.
