The Worst Terrible health Facility.Yesterday around 8:30pm I got a call that my 4 year old boy is very sick and I asked my brother to take to the hospital cause I was in Somerset West I left Somerset around 9:30 and went home in Bluedowns and after that I went to the hospital ,when I got my wife was still waiting for sister who were believed to be I a hour and 1/2 tea break according to the time we waited for the sisters,I had to run and buy panado syrup while still waiting.When the sisters came they checked him and told me to wait outside for my name to be called so that we can see the doctor..I waited there as from 23:15 up until 0048am the doctor called me in and you won't believe that the doctor wasn't even sure he told me that I think it's tonsils and he's even googling on his phone so he told me to wait outside whilst he's writing a prescription and I waited outside for more an hour for him to prescribe medication which I was told that I will have to come tomorrow morning to get and after that he said I must wait for the sisters again and I was so pissed cause it was now around 2:10 am and I waited for another 45 mins the sisters were nowhere to be found I ended up leaving cause there was no use for me to keep on waiting whilst they failed to give my son at least a panado,I had to leave the hospital and get a panado from the service station 😠😠😠😠😠

Great service. I understand that you have to wait in trauma. E ward fine. Friendly staff on duty. Hosp very clean. No difference between this Hosp and a private Hosp. I am thankful how they treated my daughter. And it was Free!.

Why is the E Ward at this hospital so putrid in appearance AND smell? One enters Eersteriver Hospital and is initially met by clean floors, a tidy reception/waiting area, bright wards and staff who greet. It all goes south once one enters Ward E!! No carpets on the floor, dark corridors, a foul smell that can't be described and patients so heavily medicated that they look like zombies! Not to mention the unfriendly, unhelpful staff who seem, at times, more interested in private conversations than patient care. Very poor impression I got while there
