My wife, son and I are regulars. Tuesday special is well priced and the lady in the children's play area is excellent, but the service is very very poor. When my wife's food came, the veggies was ice-cold. She sent it back, asking for the veggies to be heated, but not the fish as it would dry out. The food came back, when I was halfway done with my food, and everything was so hot that you would not be able to eat for at least 10 minutes. Needless to say, sadly we wont be regulars anymore.

Not happy at all!!!
Drove all the way from Wolseley to get John Dory's sushi.
Did take a takeaway. Went all the way back to Wolseley to see i only have the half of my order.

Just had supper at John Dory in Paarl Mall. Not a great experience. Service good but food was mediocre. Ordered sole. R95 for a 'single'. In other words, not cheap. Arrived totally over cooked and chewy. I could have returned it but then my guest would have eaten alone. Not a option. I ordered rice with the sole. Arrived stone cold! So? I won't go back!

Second time around i'm here on a Monday at 1pm and the service were swiftly and a improvemend on my first vissit. The calamari starter and sushi platter were top notch. Wil return here for more someday.

We visited the Paarl Mall John Dory's today, because of the new promotion which started today, 17 October 2016. Shocking, no one was even aware of the new specials. Some excuse were given that it wasn't loaded onto "the system" yet. The food was very tasty, but sadly, all white plates are damaged from ware and tare over the years. Coming from the hospitality industry, I was shocked that this is even allowed. Well done to the friendly staff and tasty food tho.
