  Great camp site, very good and well kept facilities, plenty of grass and shade and great swimming spots. It is more suited for families and their kids rather than a group of young adults such as our group, but we were luckily positioned far from any of the activity areas and enjoyed peace and quiet, so when booking a camp spot just take that into mind and perhaps ask for a spot in a quieter area of the site.

  We really had an awesome camping trip to this camp site. The manager is very friendly and knowledgeable with the surrounding areas. There are canoes on the river that are free to use. The only complaint we have is that the ablutions were not kept clean and everyday as people were not cleaning after themselves it just got worst.

  Will definitely be back to camp. On the river. A quite site with no music allowed. Do being bug spray though!

  Its a very nice camp site, especially for kids but unfortunately I doubt if we will return. There are rules but there is no one to enforce the rules. Friday and Saturday night we had to ask our neighbours multiple times to quieten down.
  Also be aware that there are many insects which do bite. Rivierplaas does warn about this but to be honest, I've never experienced so many bites in my life. Just my one leg has 24 bites on it, never mind the rest of my body. Perhaps it was just where we were camping. Maybe the rest of the site is better.
