Guys this is a tourist trap, you can clearly see the Local Guides support this place full on, but to be honest, you pay a lot for a few strokes of the animal and thats about it.

But the people are friendly, very informative and very knowledgeable. BUT this is a business in the end, therefore its no surprise they try to make as much money as possible without causing problems to the animal welfare people.

Although the interaction with the cheetah is the touristic highlight in this place, its purpose is to gather funds for the ottoman shepherd dogs program, which are used to protect herds from predators like cheetahs, and hence prevent farmers from killing these predators. The center is very educational, and the staff/volunteers are amazing. I personally enjoyed the meerkat interaction experience more than the cheetah one, and I loved seeing animals such as the caracal as ambassadors for wild life protection. This place is amazing for all ages, and the rates are very reasonable.

Awesome place they really take care of the animals there. You can also pet the cheetahs for a couple of minutes for a fee which goes into the sanctuary in helping more cheetahs. They do not drug the cheetahs for touching purposes either and have strict hygiene control. They have 30 cheetahs that they rotate daily for petting so they are not over worked

Interesting outreach project where the main purpose is to educate on the beautiful feline and it's dwindling population.
R5 per person during weekday visits, R10 over the weekends!
Crazily inexpensive with the outreach making its real profit from the animal encounters - photographs of visitors with ambassador animals of the park.
A video and tour of the facility is available at no extra charge and definitely worthwhile to truly understand the objectives of Cheetah Outreach

Areas are well kept and clean.Entrance is a nominal fee of R10 per person each for walkabouts and R140 per person for encounters.There is a viewing deck overlooking the compounds affording some photo opportunities as well.There are other animals as well like jackals,a caracul cat and bat eared foxes.Enclosures are clearly marked with the animal's information and are well kept and clean.There is also ample parking available outside the entrance

This was great deal for the price. To enter is a 10rand fee. And you get a guide that tells you about the animals. They have a project where they are training dogs to give to the farmers to protect their livestock from predators (cheetahs). That I find great. I just wish they had more space for the cheetahs to live more natural. I don't agree with animals being caged up. But that's just my opinion.

Organised and professional. Clean facilities. Staff very friendly and courteous but still taking care of the needs of the cheetahs and not only seeing the visitors as customers. Just a bit expensive for the duration of the interaction. Great that you can still send your kids alone with handlers who will even take photos of your young kids with your cellphone.

Very informative Did the cub experience followed by the meerkat encounter and Bat Ear fox encounter. All three were great. Also enjoyed learning about the guard dog program for the farmers.

This is a very small reservation but the staff, and visitors really love the cats. There are several choices to interact with them, and stroke them, go for a walk with a Cheetah, and several other activities that can provide you with an unforgettable moment. Do not come if you expect a big park, or anything roomy. I did not like how little space they had! Many opportunities to part with your money by buying little Cheetah-themed souvenirs, pictures, and your own picture with them! It is all for a good cause, though.

The people here are kind and caring. The cause is great and I would definitely be back to support them. The price is quite steep for the experience which isn't out of this world but a rare one indeed. I spent sometime with the cheetah cubs and a meerkat. I wish they wouldn't print photos without asking your permission. Happy to pay for the ones I like beforehand.

Not really a thing.. petting zoo cheetahs and just this. 200 bucks to pet a big cat for 15 mins. If you don't have anything to do, we'll.. maybe it's a good one.

This is a an establishment which seeks to protect cheetahs and as such deserves high praise but as a tourist venue it is lacking. The few animals they have are caged and mainly unseen and the "cheetah encounter" is instantly forgettable. By all means go to support this worthwhile venture but don't expect to be wowed.

Good initiative but not the best interaction in my opinion as you have to walk in along the fence, quietly and around the back of a sleeping cheetah and stoke it whilst it's sleeping. Not much of an experience. Not very big enclosures either. Very protective of the cheetahs which is fair enough I guess but still nothing like seeing them in the wild.
