It is a very nice restaurant with lots of history. The sevice at table was not what we expected. We were a crowd of 10 people and order coffee. The coffee took long and arrived to our table without milk. The coffee got cold and one of our group went to the kitchen to fetch milk. There were also complains from 2 of our members about there food.

Always a good stop if you want to be part of the casual crowd in Franschoek. Great vibe, good food and loads of drink variety.

Worth a visit for a good relaxing time.

Bad food and terrible service. Definitely not the same Franschhoek Station Pub and Grill as a year ago. Drove all the way from Cape Town, only to be disappointed, we will not be back.
Kids play area ia nice, but that's all it had going for it on a Sunday afternoon. The guests seated next to us were also complaining about food quality and service. I should have trusted the recent reviews on Facebook.

Superb pub and restaurant in a historic building. Over 40 beers on tap with options to taste. At our table we ordered pizzas. They were a good size, 30cm, with a thin crust. They were excellent. We also ordered a toasted sandwich and it came with both a small salad and chips. There is a great outdoor seating area.

Great range of food at very affordable prices, so an afternoon lunch out on family day won't break the bank. Friendly staff, a fantastic and shady kids play area. They have greatly increased their outside table capacity, and it is all beautifully shaded by either trees or stretch tents. An all around great experience.

Very quaint. The original station. Still has the railway tracks outside. Just imagine how awesome it would have been if they had the old dinning coaches too.

Friendly staff. Cold beer. Lots of outdoor and indoor seating and a kiddies play area. Definitely family orientated and a great selection of food on the menu. A fine selection of local and international beers as well. Worth a visit

Nice looking pub, unfortunately no designated smoking area- people just smoke at the bar. Also the waiter just assumed all the change was a tip!

Wanted to eat hear with my Family, but non smoking area is outside and close to smokers. I asked waiter why and she said this is a pub? So this confused me are puds just made for smokers and why is there a play area for kids then? I am sorry but this place does not adhear to current smoking regulations. It's clear to me now that this is not a place where non smokers are taken into account. Fine with me, maybe just put notification that this is strictly a place for smoker.

Great selection of craft beers and they often have live music. Good play area for the kids with good climbing trees. Food is average pub food.

Very nice spot and the combination basket of Ribs, Buffalo Wings and Fried Chicken with awesome chips is really good value that can probably be shared by two people.

Also seems quite kid friendly with a play area in the back.

Superb food and great service. Walked in with 24 Aussies and asked if they can manage a group. The answer is yes. Seemless and helpful. Best service we have seen. Thanks OXM and team.
