Great little restaurant in the heart of Stellenbosch. For breakfast, the omelettes are very tasty but too big for me, so I usually go for The Spokesman or Creamy Mushrooms. For lunch, the Cajun Chicken Salad is really yummy and not too heavy. When I'm feeling more ambitious, I go for the Mafia Boss or the Bruce Lee Chicken Burger (no longer on the menu, but they'll make it on request) - both spicy and delicious, and come with the crispy wafer fries, which are scrumptious.

Great food, we tried the butternut soup and a wrap. Both delicious. Place is very cozy, so if you don't mind being too close to the people next to you,its a great place to go for lunch :)

Wow! It was such a welcoming experience. Me and my mom arrived there 20 minutes before the kitchen closed and we had fantastic food and friendly service (even though some people slack when it's almost closing time). I would definitely recommend going there!

What a fabulous little place! Really not big enough to be called anything, but the food is fantastic and makes up for the lack of room. BtW there is indoor and outdoor seating and I suggest you make a reservation.
All staff are on the go and so friendly.
We did not have a reservation and were disappointed because everything looked so cosy and welcoming, but the young lady at the door made a plan and we were seated within minutes.
The food was over the top fantastic, so much so that I forgot to take pics of the mains!🙄

My favourite place to dine in Stellenbosch. It's a small little Italian restaurant with a quaint atmosphere in the centre of town. Their tequila chicken pasta and aioli chips are my favourite. They have some lovely wines on offer too. If the weather allows, sitting outside is a must.

Really warm and cozy atmosphere here. They have a large wine selection and awesome meals. And the service is great too.

Amazing food! Took a while to get it but it was well worth the wait! Space could be a bit bigger but the food makes up for it all

Quintessential stellenbosch eatery. Actually, best coffee in town for me these days! Great for breakfast with your riding club or a romantic dinner date (call ahead).

Prices are okay, a bit more on the pricey side. The food quality is great, I only had breakfast but the quality was really good. All round, I have no quarries with this place.

Food was delicious and worth every penny. I guess it's on the more expensive side, though it's not that significant. Our waiter was friendly and informative. I do recommend booking in advance as the place is almost always tightly packed! There is a great atmosphere and bathrooms on the premises. Loved it!

This is my and my boyfriend's favorite go-to place for any meal of the day when we are feeling like eating good, homey food. A great little cozy restaurant for dates or casual meetings with friends.

    Some of my favorites are:
    -The Le Rouge drink
    -The chicken soup
    -All the pastas

Wonderful meal. We ordered a bottle of cab, soup and salad to start, and the aubergine entree to share, and they brought each out split! Healthy portions, good service, and nice coffees and chocolate cake to end our meal. Just the loveliest setting, and all for less than $30 USD.

Absolutely delicious! Had the Dukkah chicken pasta and it made me melt in my seat. Freshly made, I could tell. Good coffee, great service. Definitely a favourite in Stellenbosch.

Lively spot for dinner with a more student crowd. Food is good, but some dishes were a bit heavy (cheese sauces) and the menu lacked decent vegetarian options. Wine was good and service was excellent. Overall we enjoyed it.

Lovely restaurant with warm atmosphere and a menu where everything tastes great! They specialise in interesting pasta dishes, burgers and a number of "home cooked" Cape curries. The restaurant has a decent well priced wine selection. They also serve strong coffee! Note that they are very popular and booking is often essential.

I like their big saucy burgers with crispy chips. Warm atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. They do creamy dishes very well. I would recommend dinning here in the evening.

Basic in name only. The service was fantastic, being in Stellenbosch you'd hope that the waiters know a thing or two about the wines and estates around, and we were not only surprised by immensely impressed. Best French Toast ever had, the homemade cream was perfect and berry compote generous. Oh, did I mention it was so good we replanned our trip to ensure we could return for the suggested breakfast? 5 stars and more!
