Easter egg hunt a massive disaster. Under staffed and under stocked is never a good combination for people catering. Back to the drawing board guys, ball ponds without balls is the order of the day. Used to be a great chill out spot, now much beter places.

Do not waste your time or money going to Eaglevlei. It is an absolute shocker. It has the weirdest set up with its Cafè. You buy a pizza and get a bottle of 2012 red wine plus another glass to make up the 'free one litre' special. You may not use the glass on the grass and have to fetch a plastic cup from the children's play station. Table only fit 4 people and seats are broken. In two and half hours never say one staff member. Empty pizza boxes and glasses piled up on table around us. Smokers sit at the table next to you. No signage about smoking. It is almost as if the owners have checked out and want the place to go broke. Plenty of better options within 5 minutes drive around you. Sorry this one is a fail.

Excellent, friendly service from our waiter Blessing! The food was absolutely delicious and the portions huge! We had a lovely time with family at Eaglevlei and the children really enjoyed the enormous play area.

Attended a conference at the venue. Loved the location and grounds are stunning. However, the catering was rather poor and can do with upping their game.

Venue was very hot and Service was very poor..we had a staff function and the muffins serve at the tea was not enough. Half of the people didnt get. Lunch was late serve salads and roll for starter. Meat and vegs was serve late half of the people left. First time i experience this at an event.

This place offers a good variety for adults and kids. They have a winning combination but the service levels needs to be taken to the next level. There is loads of entertainment and fun for a kids day outing. The food is average a bit pricey.

Very big play area for the kids, with nice chilled atmosphere for the parents to enjoy cold beer or good wine. One of the more reasonably priced estates in the Stellenboach Winelands.

I went here for breakfast and ordered the eggs benedict. Waiter comes back and tells me they're out of stock. WTF? There are only about 5 items on the breakfast menu
Then I decide on the fritata omelet. Big mistake. Seems like this one was forgotten on the stove. Could almost not cut off a piece to eat. Terrible. I didnt eat any further and left. I know I should have left after I heard that they dont have the ingredients for the benedict.
This place wont see me ever again!!

We wanted a family venue to celebrate my mother and wife's birthday. I was a bit concerned about some bad reviews and contacted Amanda. She assured me that the day will be perfect. We can only say from the bottom of our hearts, thank you Amanda and Caroline. You hit this one out of the park! We as a family had an fantastic day, you made it very special. The kids enjoyed the play park, we loved the venue and the service and food was fantastic. Keep up the good work!

Contemporary estate experience for the whole family. Superb undercover children's activity area that boasts massive jungle gym and other fun things to keep young folk happy and safe from the elements. Well priced and varied menu. Great quality. Ribs a winner. Next time; I'll try the eisbein. Will definetly return with the crowd of house friends.
