Very average in our experience. The food was satisfactory but I've had more exciting chain restaurant meals (which this is not).
From what I'd read online, it was misleading - there are no cocktails, nor tablecloths, nor impressive culinary presentations.
The host I spoke to over the phone was very helpful but the waitrons didn't quite have it together.
The interior is cozy and there are a wide variety of meals, plus a number of vegetarian choices.
There is outdoor seating but smoking just beyond seating area.

I love going to Allora in Franschhoek. My husband and I have been there on numerous occasions with friends and family. Their food is delicious. My husband and I was there on valentines day this year, I had sea bass, veggies and salad for supper, it was the first time I had sea bass and I will recommend this meal to everybody. The service is very good. The staff will definitely see a lot of us

Nice and delicious meal for affordable prize without hesitating. Only prepared to go there hungry coz the menu is phenomenal from the first page till the end. Delicious pizza i ever tasted before. I like that place and how it looks like again the decorations

Fantastic food. I had the artichoke with garlic starter and the fried shrimps with chilli sauce starter. And the Pisa tower with nutella dessert. Very tasty!

Nice village to walk through. Although the shops cater largely for foreign travels there arestil some gems like Christies jewleries for something special. The wine train also seems to be a great idea to explore some of the estates.

The food was very nice. We were with 5 people and everybody was happy with there meal. There is a gluten free options for pasta and pizza. They have a lovely selection of wines.

Wonderful experience here tonight! Delicious food, I had the Franschhoek trout, beautiful. Others had the fillet medallions and spaghetti. It was really tasty food. I'm sure the wood fired pizza oven would have been delicious too, we had pizza earlier in the day and did not want to repeat.

Our waitress and all over front desk staff were brilliant. Friendly, helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. What more could you want from a restaurant? Highly recommended!

This a really restaurant a world classic African restaurant the service is quick and efficientthe food is great the staff is adorable 😊 and helpful.we did really enjoy and I really love this it just something about it.your next visit overhere at Stellenboch or at Franshhoek do not hesitate.

Fantastic lamb shank and Dom Pedro! We had a bit hiccup with one of the dishes but the response of the waiters and managers at this wonderful establishment was brisk and generous; they offered us dessert on the house and so much more. I recommend this restaurant highly and will return when in franschoek again.

Wonderful ambience, delicious food at reasonable prices. Always a treat to go to Allora. Our kids love their pizzas and the courtyard offers a lovely space for kids to meet each other and play while the parents enjoy a glass of wine and some 'grown-up' conversation.
