Very spacious restaurant with an awesome view of Table Mountain and then a sunset over the ocean! The sushi chef is very willing to create any sushi combination of your liking. Great friendly service.
The fish was overcooked and a disappointment. I hope it was a once of experience. We'll be back to give it another try.
Worth every penny. Good food also the first place that I ate oysters. Yummy . Went back to the restaurant on 11th March 2018 to celebrate my 33rd wedding anniversary, WOW what a disappointment. The bar man stuffed up our drink orders, our waiter stuffed up our starter order, the mussels were ice cold had to call the manager to attend to the cold food and on mains they forgot our fish cakes from our platter. If there was a zero star I would give you a zero. Please get it right its not as if you had a full restaurant.
Great food! Not just seafood, the meat is also amazing & the service is awesome. The view is a must see👀! I pass 2 closer CTFM to visit this one instead.
Food was overpriced and at best, average. R21 for a small can of coke light? Honestly. Waiter had to be asked to clear table of empty glasses/bottles. The floor was covered in what I assume is grease, very difficult to walk on it and completely disgusting. They try hide their average food with fancy presentations and nice photos on the menu, and charging more than extra for sub standard. Upon leaving we said thank you and goodbye one of the waiters we walked past, but was completely ignored.
Great consistent quality of food. Sushi is just way to expensive even when on special.
Great food. Good service. Amazing view. What more can you ask for?
I have had 3 out 5 experiences as bad but my latest 2 visits really surprised me. The food and service seems to have improved. Keep up the good work, don't drop the ball.
I would give this restaurant zero stars. There is a consistent decline in the quality of food. This is the third time in a row that the food has been sub- standard. The fried fish still had uncooked batter inside. The Cape Town Fish Market franchisor needs to investigate the quality of food at this branch.
Went mid-week for dinner with the family. Service was poor, food was even worse. Seafood platter for two was well below average. Ordered a don pedro and it came looking like slosh, had to get it remade the way it should have been in the first place. Very overpriced for average food. Manager only gave us numerous apologies but we were there a few months ago and received same service so clearly no change.
Went on a cold, wet winter evening and sat next to a lovely fire. Salmon (main course) was top notch. Everything was, actually. Starters and dessert too. Attentive, kind waiter and good service.
Worth every penny. Good food also the first place that I ate oysters. Yummy
Cape Town Fish Market has quickly become my go-to place for celebrations. Exquisite food is served, and even though it is mainly a seafood restaurant, their meat dishes can rival those of a steakhouse any day of the week. They have a variety of specials throughout the week, and usually have some sort of wine promotion where is you purchase a specific bottle of wine, you will receive a free starter, which I have found to be a fantastic choice as the starters are normally changed with each promotion.
excellent food and service delicious everything 😃👍
Great sushi and mussel pot. Prices have gone up a bit
We arrived and were seen by about 4 waiter staff and promptly ignored because they were fully booked, but we didn't want a table we wanted to have a take away meal. Is it too much to ask to have polite customer service?
one of the best places for fresh fish. We go regularly and have never been disappointed. The views are amazing. The parking plentiful. The staff helpful.
