This was our favourite wine we had in South Africa. First we had a bottle at V and A waterfront. Ask for a good local wine and this was what we were served. We loved it that much about a week later we came here to where it was made. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Lovely romantic venue with the most beautiful view. The wine isn't too bad either.

The wines are fantastic and so is the setting but the staff do the wine tasting centre a disservice. If you visit on a Sunday, make sure you order your wine tasting by 15:29 because apparently the tastings stop at 15:30 and there are "wine sales" until 16:00.

Begrudgingly we were allowed to taste at 15:40 but I'm not sure Speed Wine Tasting is a passtime that will go mainstream. Such a shame because the first two times I came here we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great picnic setup and wonderful picnic baskets, with good wine to taste. Chardonnay is good, but the Chenin has a good challenge. Picnic baskets has a wonderful selection on items in it, from various cheeses, to some nice meats. No full marks because our basket was missing a few items that were advertised, which we were looking forward too.

Perfect, small, genuine historical place where you can enjoy great wine and food. Came here by chance but never regretted it and stayed for most of afternoon. Fantastic service.
