They have best deserts ever and it so beautiful. The lifts are wow and the view is also great, it good for new launch training and conference and celebrations events.
Beautiful hotel. Excellent service. Safe. Pity that they don't have a bar open a little later, say until midnight, for guests....allows networking after a hard day of working. Drinks prices exorbitant but bar absolutely delicious. Vibe at bar conducive to chatting.
Fantastic hotel with nice restaurants and excellent staff. The manager also helped me with some reservation problems that were corporates mistake and I am very appreciative. I loved the evening restaurant staff, they always called me by name from memory every time I went in to eat
I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Cape Town. Great location in the city center, a block down from the Company Gardens. Wonderful, helpful, caring staff who are genuinely concerned about the safety and enjoyment of their guests. Great travel desk always willing to help with planning, booking, and giving travel suggestions.
My sister and I stayed here as guests from the US and didn't know what to expect from the city. By day 2, the staff knew us by name and even helped us track down lost luggage. When we went out for a late-night drink, we came back to find one of the valets waiting outside to make sure we got back to the hotel safely. We could not have asked for a better experience!!
Not the proper service level for a 5 star hotel. Inflexible when it comes to requests you make (early check-in or late check-out) but they want you to be flexible and understanding when their service is slow or deficient.
GORGEOUS hotel, impressive staff, regular rooms are enormous and gorgeous but two of my friends were upgraded to HUGE suites. Clean, quiet, modern. Easily my favorite hotel we stayed in.
Nice newer hotel, good location near Long street and easy parking in their parking structure. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Housekeeping could do better, found refuse under a table in plain sight. Friendly front desk staff, warm and welcoming. Would be nice to have Marriott Platinum benefits of a lounge and breakfast to be included, but that isn't the case. Overall a nice newer hotel.
The room service stole first the sunglasses, afterwards money that wasn’t for 6 hours in the safe.
The hotel was saying thank you for this kinda donation through that they sort out who is gonna work there during high season and that’s it.
Heard it from several other guests that was happening more often. Absolutely a no go for me except the client is booking me in there...
Very nice aesthetically but has a cold feel to it. Great for business conventions
This hotel is fairly new and in great shape. Very modern and neat lighting. The amenities are a plenty, but service gets 3 stars, hotel gets 5. Compares to a Marriott hotel in the US.
Always clean and convenient. Spacious luxurious rooms, Great food and coffee too.
Quality of the rooms and the service is top notch for a hotel of its class. The staff are professional and very friendly. The food is good although there was lack of variety on the breakfast buffet, which seemed to be exactly the same every morning.
Checked with multiple staff last night that what looked like parking outside the hotel was actually parking. They assured me that it was. Returned this morning to find R800 parking fine on my car. Manager told me he 'had no idea' who was working last night and that I 'had got a parking ticket and should just deal with it'. Refused to offer any help.
Great service, beautiful rooms, central location
Extremely poor service. Waited 1 and a half hours for room service. Arrived completely dried out and ice cold. No apology offered either.
Amazing service. Amazing rooms. The whole hotel is at another level. The only problem was the very slow check in process. Everything else was top class.
Beautiful with great service. I particularly enjoyed their cell phone charging station at the restaurant
Used the boardroom facilities. Wifi connectivity was terrible and kept dropping, we needed to wait 45 minutes for an hdmi cable (who uses vga these days anyway) and the prearranged halaal meals were completely messed up
