Showed up at 10:33 one night, the guy had told me they closed at 11 when I called 10 minutes before that, they literally closed the gate in our face as we approached the entrance
Saddest part is my cousin was in town from North Carolina and I'd been bragging to my her about the drinks and apps at this place
Good thing LuLu's right down the street was welcoming and having Happy Hour. Guess we ended up right where we were supposed to be.
We'll definitely be back to LuLu's next time fams in town

On a recent trip To Palm Springs I notice something had change to one of my favorite restaurants. I was a little concern whether the service, food quality, and menu would be the same. I love this place, even with the name change. It was previously known as Matchbox. The menu has not change much which made me happy. This is one of my go to places in Palm Springs. I have always had excellent service and flavorful food when it was Matchbox.and decided to try it as Brickworks.

As my partner and I went upstairs we were greeted with friendly smiles and great attitudes. We were seated immediately by a window. The decor in the restaurant was still nice. As we looked at the menu, our favorites were still there which we proceeded to order. The waitress was friendly and not overbearing. I really hate when a waiter or waitress keeps coming back every five minutes.

Typically for lunch we order two appetizers, a salad for each of us and two pizzas. Our favorites are the Spicy Ahi Tempura Roll and Wild Calamari Fritti which is served with my favorite jalapeño jelly. I have tried different jalapeño jellies from the stores but their jelly is still the best. My favorite salad is the Apple Pear Salad which has candied pecans. The vinaigrette goes well with the gorgonzola. My partner always orders a simple wedge salad. As for the Pizzas, they are still great. I tend to go for weird combinations such as Prosciutto and Black Mission Fig Pizza. which is my personal favorite. The other pizza that we love has artichokes which is the Veggie Perfection.

The service has not change and the waitress was very attentive and personable. They always made sure that we had our drinks and our water full. In fact it was not just the waitress that help but other staff members help out as well.

Over all the we still had the same great experience as before and still had great food. The only thing I am not sure about is whether they still have the their Happy Hour drink and appetizer prices

This is a cool place overlooking the Palm Springs main street.. snag a viewing seat on street fair night and it is a great setting. The prices on the regular menu are a bit pricey, but the happy hour specials are incredible for the price. Somewhat small portions but the prices are good enough to order several. It is mostly a specialty pizza place but there are other things on the menu. We shared 3 appetizers - the Ahi sushi rolls, the bruschetta and the potato skins. The fancy vodka lemonade drinks were also on special for $6 each. Everything was really good. Service was very attentive and our view was great. Our total price for 3 apps and 2 drinks was $27.. a deal in my book for the quality and type of restaurant. Would definitely go again!

Shaun was amazing (hope that's how to spell his name!) We had a large group and the service was flawless, without any sign of annoyance which we got at other restaurants with a large party. The food was also amazing. Thank you for the hospitality and delicious pizza!

Bad customer service and bad food. I went to dinner with my wife. We got there at 9:15pm. The restaurant closes at 10pm. I got a pizza and paid extra to add chicken. The chicken tasted old. It was gross. I brought it to the attention of our waitor, he immediately grabbed the plate from me and asked if I wanted something else, of course I said yes, since we just started eating. He came back a few minutes later and said the kitchen had closed everything down at 9:50. The worst thing that ruined our meal besides not getting to eat was the fact that the owner, Milo did nothing. My wife had to take her overpriced salad back to our hotel because who likes to eat by themselves. Bad management and customer service. We do not recommend this over priced restaurant that serves old food and does not care about making sure customers leave Happy.

Tried my first pizza from this place. Wow. So much better than "Masa". I can equate their deep dish to the pizza I had in Palm Springs. Recommend!

Awful experience. I am amazed at the positive reviews. The food and service we had was ridiculously substandard. Unless its really improved or has extremely inconsistent kitchen and wait staff, I would look elsewhere.

A great little bar located on balconies above the downtown strip in Palm Springs. Food was surprisingly very good quality, atmosphere was great and the views across the downtown square area and the mountains beyond were great. Very cool spot!

This restaurant is now back in good ownership. There was a brief stint when the food's quality deteriorated and the prices went up. Thanks to the present owner, the quality and quantity of food is excellent again. This restaurant is well run, employees are treated well and many have worked there for a number of years. The drinks are always excellent, as is the food. The restaurant is beautiful with a lovely atmosphere and great views of downtown Palm Springs. They provide intimate tables for two and can also host a very large party.
