Good vibes and good food. One of the best parts was the seasonal fruit smoothie. I recommend. The waitress didn’t laugh at our jokes but it might have been more of a reflection on us than on her.

Cool atmosphere, but I had the worst experience. Service was terrible backed by inept management, food was inedible. The experience as a whole was so awful I'm going to contest the charge on my credit card. I highly (highly) recommend you avoid this horrendous place.

Disappointing. I wanted to love this place. The vibe is so cool but it really can't survive on vibe alone. The food is inventive and not bad at all, but it's the service that really brings it down. They struggled to get appetizers out close together. Some people were done before others were served. We couldn't get basics like silverware. The waiter spilled on one of our party, which was no big deal, but a whole bunch of managers came out to apologize, but they all left not doing anything about the piles of dirty appetizer plates still on our table, the empty waters, the missing cocktails and the fact that we were eating dinner amongst a very crowded and dirty table while some were still waiting on meals. Very nice people, just really need to get organized from managers down.

Not very happening on a Sunday night in September. But the waiter made an extra effort to be very attentive to us since we might have been one of two parties in the restaurants. The bacon wrapped dates where diablitos! Wonderful!

Great mid century modern vibe to the dining room. Food is fantastic! We had the avocado toast, although $13 is steep you can easily share it. It's also attached to a really cool hotel with a pool open to the public for a small fee. If you're in palm springs come check this place out.

The food is always delish here. The staff are good and efficient. Breakfast is interesting with many of the dishes featuring bold Mexican influences. A must eat whenever we're in Palm Springs.

I like the fact that it's a remodelled Denny's diner, the staff are pretty nice, the interior is cool. I really wanted to like King's Highway a lot more but the food is just so painfully mediocre :(
We were staying at the hotel so tried various meals at various times. Everything was merely edible, nothing stood out. Burgers and sandwiches lifeless and lacking seasoning. Breakfast way behind other Ace venues. Entrees portions very small.
And who on earth charges $12 for JUICE??!! To the best of my knowledge - nobody else on earth. Even the Claridges hotel in London offers juice with a more sensible price tag.
This place is on the right track but there's lots of room for improvement. I'd give 2.5 stars if I could, 3 is generous.response / report this review -

Great brunch. Very friendly service in a hip, retro style diner. Avocado toast and chilequiles are excellent. The date smoothie is ok, but a wee a bit heavy on the cinnamon.
