Winter for 3 Days on a fishing trip didn't catch one fish the shore was line of people fishing no one else got one either. If you're going just to Camp the campgrounds are pretty good

This place was great. Went here with a lot of family. Be prepared to bring a Jacket, and prepare your food. Not to many places close to just grab something to eat or any last minute items. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Nice fire pit. Wood is expensive. for a few logs.

Lake Hemet campground has come a long way over the last 30 years. Check it out during the off season if you prefer a quieter experience. The swim area (water park) brings a new flavor to a lake that for so long had prohibited bodily contact. Trout fishing is always good, as long as you come prepared. It's always warm in the Summer, and cold in the Winter. Great for a quick overnight get away, or week long outing. Enjoy!

We arrived late and it was dark so it made it a littel difficult to set up our tent but all ana all its a buttiful place a d we hade a great time

Nice place to stay if you like big campground with a lot of people (september is better). Lake is great but you can not go swimming It's a problem when the name of the campground is lake Hemet. Spent one night here, was cool !

My family of 5 and father in law camped here for the 1st time for 2 nights and had a great time! The water park was awesome for my 7 year old & I and the swim beach was a lot of fun for my younger kiddos. Had a bit of trouble with water park patrons parking in our camp site but Sylvia, the general manager, made time to come talk to me and make it right. We already made reservations for next year. Lake Hemet campground is definitely becoming a part of a new family tradition! Great place for people of all ages. Pets are also welcome.

Very peaceful. Enjoyed our stay. Some of the site are hard to get in to. Ours was between 2 permanent resident sites.

Was disappointed we could not swim in lake unless we paid $10 per person to swim In a roped off area. Very very impacted

My family and I had a great time. This was our first time here. Nice size lake with friendly people, easy to find and lots to do.

BEAUTIFUL. Friendly, clean. We kayaked, heard the songs of coyotes, and found a cast iron pan at their store when we tragically forgot ours at home. We only stayed one night because it was WAY colder than we were prepared for, but we will ABSOLUTELY be back this summer.

I have been taking my daughters here since they were young. Its a quiet campground (although has grown in size, so we now stay in the smaller areas) with a lake for fishing, great walking around with little ones, and close to hiking trails. Its a short drive into Idyllwild for ice cream, small shops, or supplies.

This is a wonderful quiet place with a nice staff. If you are looking for "glamour," best to go back to the city. This is an all natural area and you don't feel the effects of noisy crowds and pavement. There are quiet trails, beautiful views of the the lake, and nice places to walk.
