This place is very different. I love how the staff is extra friendly with everyone, I felt like I was a "regular" first time I walked through the door. The pulled pork is extremely tasty and they allow dogs outside the building. Overall, very nice atmosphere, the hallways inside the establishment are a little tough to navigate through due to the fact that it's a remodeled house but not enough to take away a star. Will return, thanks!

Really cool place, huge menu with tons of smoked-meat based sandwiches and dishes (but they do have some veggie nosh, too,) also a good selection of interesting brews and such. I'm pretty sure I could eat here once a day for a month and never have the same thing twice! To top it all off, the prices are very reasonable, highly recommended.

This place is amazing. Hard to believe many locals haven't been here. Took some friends the other day and they fell in love with it too. Great American comfort food, good beer selection, amazing outdoor space. The outdoor eating is covered and has a great breeze keeping it comfortable. The ambiance is awesome and even better on nights that they have live music. If you haven't checked this place out, I highly recommend it. Try the Drunken Pig my personal favorite.

I love this place. They have amazing food and great staff. I always get the pulled pork nachos. They have great deserts too. There is usually a line, so that gives you time to look over the menu. They have plenty of seats downstairs, upstairs, and outside. The live music that they have some nights is great.

I've had BBQ in 40 states and Yellow Dog Eats is the best I have ever had! Their sandwiches are big enough to be full meals and the ribs are truly amazing! They also have a vegan section in their menu for the herbivores in your family, too. Save room for dessert!

We visited recently whilst on vacation and WOW what a find! The staff were super-friendly even to strangers, we watched (and ended up befriending) a talented local singer and had some great food and drinks. Highly recommended if you're in the area and we will certainly be back. Hint - on arrival go and sit in the garden, it's where the action is at!

Don’t get a salad! I should say there’s nothing wrong with the saladsbut why would you order that when you can get delicious pulled pork piled on a bun!?

I made this mistake only yesterday and now I have to live with that decision. While I solemnly munched on lightly dressed greens, I watched six coworkers enjoy their pro-meat entrees, savoring each bite. They looked so happy.

Don’t make the same mistake I did. This is one of my favorite spots and now I can never take back that meat-deprived lunch. Order that Rufus or Florida Crackeryou’ll thank me later.

Also, big shout out to the spicy pickles which are delicious and worthy of asking for extra.

There is a lot of hype about this place. I found that it has good BBQ, but the indoor seating here is very, very limited. The menu is pretty extension! It takes awhile to read over and make a selection! I definitely recommend trying this place out!! It has a fun atmosphere :) parking is also limited!!!

Yellow Dogs ordering process can be a bit crazy during busy hours, the line tends to have a mind of it's own and people are everywhere in this small space. However, the food is well worth it. Great smokey ribs with what they call "gold" sauce, which it is in both color and flavor. Very nice beer and wine selection, as well. This is certainly a hidden gem here, though I personally feel they may have outgrown their current location. It's quaint and cozy, but when it gets packed, can be a bit claustrophobic.

This place is amazing! Third time back and no complaints. Great selection of beer (local brews too!), awesome food, and friendly people working there. My wife eats gluten-free and there's a lot of options besides what's on the menu. Pretty much anything on the menu sans the bun. If you're having doubts, look at every great review on here we can't all be wrong!!!!!

We weren't prepared for how the place is set up. You go inside to order at the counter. The line is confusing at first, and it can be hard to find a place to stand that isn't in the way.

That being said, the food and the atmosphere were great. Most memorable, honestly, was the black cat we found napping under the bench where we sat outside. He was unconcerned with all the noise. He even let us pet him a bit.

Yellow Dog is a fantastic place to eat, drink and hang out here in central Florida. In a quote neighborhood an old house with chickens and an awesome patio is making food to tantalize your taste buds. Not only bbq, but great vegetarian options too. Check it out, you will no be disappointed. PS- save room for dessert- or take it to go!

Amazing food and great service. We are from out of town and heard that this was one place you had to eat if you were in Orlando, and it's true. We all ordered something different and everything was so good. Our waiter/bartender was very helpful and made great suggestions on what to order. A definite must stop if you are in Orlando. You will not be disappointed!

We have been regulars at Yellow Dog for seventeen years. We love the food, atmosphere, and everything about the place. We were bummed when they covered the patio, because that used to be one of our all-time favorite outdoor places to eat and hang out. The new patio is nice but not seeing the sky is a bummer. Feels further from nature. However, they needed extra seating, and the food is delicious, so they still get five stars from us. We also like that certain menu items can be modified to be vegan. Highly recommend the Mexican Mutt modified to be vegan with roasted potatoes. Overall, great place. If you haven't been here, you need to go.
