I was so disappointed being such a well known chef I figured the restaurant would be excellent but I was greatly disappointed. We ordered what I now consider an overpriced Thanksgiving special which took a long time coming to the table and everything on the plate was barely warm and some of the sides were missing and we had to ask for the sides, Then the dessert was like a Wal-Mart pie nothing special and had to ask if we were going to get the pie after a long wait after the entree. Poor watier service for the cost of the meal

Waitress wasn't attending to our needs. Didn't get everything published on Thanksgiving menu after paying $50 per person. Had to ask for refills on drinks & took long time B4 getting any food & long wait between courses. Then at last minute told the cheesecake I ordered was not available but it listed on menu. Restroom for women was not clean & basin wouldn't drain. :-(

Food was bland. Nobody was in the restaurant at lunch time, which should have been a sign. They offered 1 free appetizer or dessert, per table. We chose the appetizer (eggrolls). They brought us 2 egg rolls cut in halves for a party of 6. Don't waste your money or time.

Very good food at at a reasonable price for a resort. My family of 4 paid only slightly more to eat here than poolside. If you're staying on property it's worth a visit. Baaaam!

My 5 stars is for the EXCELLENT service from Arturo at the bar. His drinks and service made the difference in the restaurant to be completely honest. I'll be coming back just for his attentive service.

Don't waste your time or money. This was a very expensive dinner for which you would expect superior quality food and service. We got neither. The food was average at best. The service was extremely slow considering there was barely anyone there. Even getting drinks took a long time. To many other places to eat. Skip it.

Love the place and the bartender Arturo, however I ordered the sushi and shrimp appetizers. Sushi was great, shrimp served with shell on ( ugh) ,then ordered the scallop s, which were good, however, the sauce had oyster mushrooms (ugh) , And. Fettucine pasta which was not cooked right. Very hard. So disappointed, as this restaurant was recommended by a friend.

We went for lunch and the food was mediocre and service was terrible. We were one of only
two tables in the restaurant and there were so many issues, you're better off going to the pool bar for food. Don't waste your money here. Make sure to read the fine print the free dessert is one per table. Management was less than helpful. Never again.

First, we showed up at the restaurant two minutes before closing. For those who haven't worked in a restaurant, it is a little rude to show up anywhere near closing time because it takes a while to clean up a kitchen. The manager there welcomed us and assured us that it was OK. This made us feel comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and the food was fantastic. We ordered the meat platter which tasted delicious and also got the crème brûlée for dessert. Overall, we were pleased with the food. I would recommend eating here on special occasions because of prices but definitely come here!

It was horrible! I'll give them credit for the hotel and designs, but the food there was terrible. The chicken was undercooked, they messed up our orders, the rice tasted like there was dish soap and water inside it, and the fish was super cheap, but expensive in the restaurant.The only good things were the sushi and appetizers. Go to City walk next door if you want some good food.

If you aren't there with a conventionsave your money. I am a local foodie and have been to Tchoup Chop many timesbut my most recent experience will be my last. I arrived to the restaurant early (around 5:30). I typically sit at the bar if I am alonewhich I was. I was eventually greeted by the bartender and given a dinner menu. I had to specifically ask if there was a happy hour (which there is). I actually did not order anything from the happy hour menuinstead I ordered the K.F.C which used to be one of my favorite dishes in Orlando. To my right was a woman sitting in a bar stool somewhat in the corner. When I first sat down I assumed she was waiting for takeout? I quickly realized she was the "guardian" of the small convention group on the other side of the bar. Again.on the other side of the bar. So as I tried to eat my food, this woman stared through me watching her patrons. I have never felt more uncomfortableand while eating a $24 entree and drinking a $15 drink. No thanks. I finally asked the woman if she was waiting for takeout and she explained she was with a travel company. When I kindly explained how uncomfortable the situation was to the bartendersboth looked at me as if I were speaking another language. Bottom line Tchoup chopif you are catering to a private party please do sobut not at the expense of other paying patrons. I will not be back and I will no longer sing your praises to my fellow local foodies.

Excellent service and great menu options. We tried to make a reservation at 6pm but they said it was full so we scheduled for an earlier time but 6pm came and the restaurant was still as empty as when we first arrived. Cocktail menu was fun and banana cream pie to die for.
