Great food and service. Tried their fired alligator first time in my life, it turned out pretty good. Mixed grill seafood was also good.

Loved our dinner. Portions were huge and the chilean Sea Bass and Colossal Shrimp cooked to perfection. No room for dessert this trip but I️ got a look at the dessert cart while waiting to be seated and was intrigued. Will definitely visit Johnnie’s on my next trip to Orlando - and will remember to come very hungry!

Staff was warm and helpful. Very nice atmosphere. Only reason that my rating is a 4 instead of a 5 is because the shrimp and scallops scampi was overcooked the first time. Our waitress and the manager immediately made it right. The rest of our meals were correct and delicious so I will definitely return.

We are here every couple of months. Tonight we had something different. We ate the black grouper with blue crab. My goodness this is the best black grouper I've ever had. And I've lived in Florida for 35 years. It was moist, the flavor was not overpowering. I would recommend it to anybody who enjoys fish. As always the service was excellent.

MENU: 3 stars. I had the double pork chop and the snow crab. This was a tale of two cities: the pork was phenomenal and the crab was appalling. The good: the pork chop was cooked to sheer perfection, was tender, had glorious flavor and was simply enormous. The bad: the crab was for some reason cold, tasteless, and lacked any semblance of flavor. I’ll come back but avoid the crab like the plague.

MOOD: 5 stars. Johnny’s Hideaway has a really chill and romantic vibe. The dimmed lighting and beautiful scenery made my wife and I feel as if we were on a first date.

STAFF: 5 stars. I really liked our waitress. She was funny, understanding, and informative. Although the manager did not visit us (I love that, shamelessly), I felt that I was being attended to nicely.

VERDICT: 4 stars for an overall pleasant dining experience. I will certainly be returning and I’d recommend Johnny’s Hideaway to all of my friends.

We were here for our family vacation and expect great places to dine at. I ordered a medium well porterhouse steak and parmesan garlic oysters that arrived hard and burnt. As a LA native, I never had oysters that were this bad. I informed the waiter so he sent somebody around the tables asking if anything is wrong without informing me. We did not tell the other man about the issue as we didn't know if he's a manager or not He did not look or act like a manager. Even better, he went telling the waiter that everything is okay. Waiter came back and I told him I just want the ticket and will head out. Worst dining experience to date in Orlando. I do not recommend anyone going to this restaurant.

Amazing experience! Wait staff was on point and I ordered the Alaskan Salmon dinner which was arguable THE BEST salmon I've ever had. Husband has the Madagascar shrimp and would highly recommend. Laid-back fine dining at it's best! Can't wait to come back!

The dining experience at Johnnie's was excellent. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. Our server, Will, was gracious, knowledgeable, attentive, and very personable. All of our selections -
frog legs, gator, wine, cantaloupe martini, grouper, Chilean sea bass, t-bone, fisherman's feast - were excellent and my family and I could not have been more pleased. I certainly will visit again and highly recommend this restaurant. A must visit.

Went with a group from work, food was note as good as usual, salad was mushy, appetizers were really good, asks entree was average. Waiter was exceptional, we did individual pay and he was totally accommodating, humorous, knowledgeable, and helpful. Always eat here when in town and will certainly return next time. Just an off night with good quality.

One of the better Happy Hours in the area! Service was great! A good choice of drinks! And food selections were tasty and plentiful.

Last day of our trip to Orlando and what a way to finish it off with a fantastic meal. My wife and i were a little nervous bringing our 3 year old son here as it is a very nice restaurant however our waitress Nikki was wonderful at entertaining our sons shananagans. The food was delicious, it was the best meal we had all week, and the stone crab is to die for!! It is a bit on the pricey side but you get every pennies worth. We will be visiting again next time we are here.

I've been here quite a few times and it is always great. There are two nice bar areas, one inside and one outside, where you can order drinks or a full meal. There are also a few searing address on the inside. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. My favorite menu item is their monster pork chop. On my last visit I came with a large group from work. We ordered steaks and seafood dishes. Everyone in our group was impressed with the quality of their meal and they all thanked me for convincing them to go to Johnnie's rather than eating at one of the restaurants in our hotel. Can't wait for my next trip to Johnnie' s.

Happy house is delicious. It was nice to sit out on the patio by the lake and enjoy our oysters. You have to watch your check though. I asked for a martini, and was automatically given the higher priced one and never asked. I also ordered tuna nachos and never got them, but they were on our bill. They also charged us $8 each for rum & coke when they were on happy hour for $4.
