Exemplary service, nice atmosphere, good food and very expensive.
Bice at Portofino is a nice restaurant for perhaps a special occasion. It is quiet, making it easy to hold a conversation.
Food is good, but for about 40% of the price, Seasons 52 is better. I had salmon and my wife, veal. My salmon was cooked the way I enjoy it, and was very tasty. My wife's veal was tough.
The service staff is excellent, leaving little to be desired.
At close to $200 for the meal, it would be very difficult for me to return. And that is with a voucher for parking which otherwise would have cost another $24.00.response / report this review -

Nice setting, however the food does not come close to what I expected. Lasagna with no tomato sauce or cheese and a bruschetta without any cheese, just chopped tomatoes on toasted bread. I expected more out of such a nice looking restaurant.

An amazing experience from the moment we sat down. Paul was very accommodating with everything. The fresh mozzarella tasted as though it was made fresh that day. The meals were tasty and not too large but not too small either. The creme brule was the best I've ever had. The complimentary lemoncello was a nice gift.
It's a very nice place that didn't make you feel like you needed to hold up a pinky while eating. Highly recommend which I'm very picky with my reviews.response / report this review -

My husband and I had an amazing time here! My husband ordered the Wagyu steak and absolutely loved it, and I got the Cornish Game Hen and it was delicious. The service was amazing, the restaurant itself was so beautiful, it was just overall a great experience from start to finish. We will definitely be back when we visit Florida next year!

The view from the 2nd story verandah overlooking Portofino Bay is magnificent and reminiscent of Italy. However, the ambience inside was different with country music playing in the background. The $36 Halibut was overcooked and dry. The tagliatelle dish with vodka sauce wasn't really that special. Add a few cocktails, a bottle of wine and shared dessert and the bill came to $300.00 for just the two of us. Ouch! Definitely will stick with the the hotel's other fine dining restaurant, Mama Delia's, next time.

Had four diners with family. Lasagna, veal scallopinie, pasta w Bolognese and steak. Pasta in lasagna was so over cooked could not eat. Pasta w Bolognese so salty could not eat, veal so over cooked could not eat, steak would have been sent back at outback. Spent over $400 for dinner would have been upset to spend $100. This dinner sucked!!!!! Stay away unless you like Rague in a jar. Would have more satisfaction giving my money to my king friend from Somalia.

Ate at this beautiful restaurant on Thursday. The only negative was the Bolognese tasted too salty. No bad, but tolerable. However the Pistachio encrusted salmon was excellent . Prices were to be expected in an upscale restaurant. Our server, Thomaso, was helpful and very much on his game. Enjoyed the appetizers and dessert.
Definitely could use a few quality tequilas on the menu.

The outdoor views are amazing, but the inside is also very nice. Loved the live grand piano playing in the background. The service is great and so is the food. Wine selection is vast and server knows how to recommend a good one based on taste. They even gave a free birthday desert which I did not expect. Wonderful experience all around.
