Went with the wife. The crew were great, food was a pleasant surprise, it was included, very good. Build your own sandwich. Was a 2.5 hour drive out to dry tortugas each way. 4 hours at tortugas. We worked, it was so fun, we saw a ton of fish. I was very surprised how clear the water was, it looks like you're in the Caribbean. I would highly recommend this company and adventure.

Great service. I do wish they had more details online thought. We had loads of small questions that went unanswered until we got there. Like are there changing rooms (there are) and are there showers to hose off the salt water (there are on the boat) and many others. All in all a good experience.

Great National Park. Crystal clear water. We enjoyed the boat tour. The food onboard was okay. Snorkeling wasn't so spectacular as we thought cause we couldn't find many fishes. At the end, it was a great trip.

Very fun, albeit long, day! The crew is extremely professional. Especially when taking care of all 175 on the vessel during transit to the island. They warned about motion sickness but many seemed to ignore their advice and didn’t take medication. The crew was willing and ready for to help bring ginger ale and throw away many gag bags from those that fell victim to the 5-6 foot wave swells. It was a very fun day. Highly recommend this boat tour and crew.

Wow, super awesome tour. Crew was friendly and informative. It's a long day but is filled with fun. Breakfast and lunch are provided. We had several hours at the park to explore. Or if you want, someone on the boat will give you an hour guided tour. There is snorkeling gear you can use (for free). And they even have fresh water rinsing stations. Definitely worth the money!

First of all, remember, we are going to a National Park. The staff on the ship, Ryzee, Hollywood and "Manbun", (Ryzee's brother) were all great. The trip was worth every penny and we camped 1 night. The food on the ship was good, refreshing, and plentiful, as well as sodas and coffee. The captain met us at the gate at 6:30 and got all our gear on board. The trip out and back was uneventful but wonderful all the same, Saw turtles, dolphin and "flying" fish. Don't know if they were real "flying"fish or just jumping very high. We will be back to stay at least 2 days, now that I really know what to bring and what to do. So glad you all are ok, and Fort Jefferson is still welcoming visitors.

It's the only boat taking the general public to the Dry Tortuga NP. You can usually fly to NY for less money but somehow they are able to have a monopoly on this. With full bookings weeks ahead, there certainly isn't a lack of demand for more competition.

Originally just booked a spot aboard Yankee Freedom just to get to Dry Tortugas National Park (as they are the only boat carrier and, thus, the cheapest option to get to the island). By the way, the cost of a ticket for 1 adult is $175. Anyhow, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised with the services provided, the friendliness of the staff, and the great overall experience.
The trip itself takes approximately 2.5 hours one way. You leave port about 0800 and are back around 1730; that's a little over 4 hours on the island. While there, they provided complementary snorkel gear and one of the crew also offers a guided tour.
The island itself, Garden Key, is beautiful. Fort Jefferson was fun to explore and the waters were pristine. Absolutely paradise.
Breakfast and lunch are provided, as well as non-alcoholic beverages throughout the day. On the return ride back to Key West, they also offer a bar service. Parking, which was located on the kitty corner from the ferry terminal, was an additional $18 for all day.

Large safe comfortable catamaran ferry to Dry Tortugas. Breakfast buffet and lunch buffet are not special, but are plentiful and satisfactory. There is no getting around the length of time on the boat, but everything is done to make the trip pleasant and comfortable.

The fort is an amazing piece of engineering! Wish there was more time to explore. Sad that more people were interested in snorkeling/sunbathing at the beach rather than exploring and learning the history of the fort.

Boat was nice but the rough waters caused about 75% of people on board to vomit. Imagine being on board with most people vomiting all around you. It was beyond gross. I was so happy to return to dry land! Proud to say I kept my cookies!!

Our recent trip to Dry Tortugas proves you can't fool with Mother Nature. The weather was cold, wet and windy. The crew warned us about rough seas and seasickness. We opted for the Dramamine right away. Great decision as 2/3 of the boat spent the trip over barfing in bags! The fort was impressive but we were disappointed because the cold weather prevented us from enjoying the beaches or snorkeling. On a side note, the crew did a magnificent job of taking care of the sick people. Thank you!

It should be on your bucket list. Even if your not a big history buff the structure is just awe inspiring rising out of the sea in the middle of nowhere. If you want to fish you can bring your fishing rods right on board and they put them in the back for safe keeping along with all the camping gear from people camping. I found the fishing was excellent from shore although a lot of it is blocked off for snorkeling so be careful where you fish. Ask first or they might give you a warning.
