We stayed here during the weekend of Fantasy Fest, and not long after hurricane Irma. I'm sure that before the hurricane the area and resort were beautiful. The hurricane took its toll all along the middle and lower Keys. Staff was exceptional, as was the resort manager, Devon. A lovely and charming hostess that went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She is fantastic and an excellent people person.
We did have a few problems with room. Noise level of room that adjoined our room via a door that allowed access between rooms. At night when retiring I could hear the tv in next room clearly. The staff tried to sound dampen it for us the next day with foam, but to no avail. But I have to commend their efforts. Room also had an odor of cigarette smoke. I found out they had local residents stay in room after the hurricane, but the guest did not adhere to their no smoking in rooms policy. Again they went out of their way to try to eliminate the odor.
But still with all said and done, and given the circumstances of still trying to recover after the storm, this place and their personnel have to be commended for their great customer service and response time. I'd stay again if I ever return to visit the area.

Stayed in the Lobster. Cosy room with (shared) veranda. They just survived Hurricane Irma and did a great job to have everything ready for their guests!

A warm welcome awaits any visitors to Parmer’s Resort. The customer service is brilliant and the resort itself is a treasure. The outdoor games and pool were great to keep us busy and the location is ideal

Nice place with everything we needed. Grills, dock etc. 45 min to key West. Good bar and grills close.

Wife was verbally assaulted by other guests. Front desk was dismissive as "they are workers" (construction workers from nearby project). Maybe this is acceptable in FL?

Staff was awesome and the stay was great! If you want modern, throw three times the money down and hit a franchised hotel. This place is very clean, very reasonable, and perfectly aged. Everything you need is right here, including a boat ramp and trailer parking!

One of the most peaceful hotels we've ever been too. It was the perfect setting for our Keys holiday 2 nights stay was not enough! The complex is simple in design, but everything is designed so that visitors have a nice relaxing time when staying here. A wonderful experience.

Recently updated and under new ownership. Customer service is top notch. Paddle boards and kayaks are available, and the resort is right on the water. My wife and I come to the keys annually and we make Parmer's our first choice for the lower keys. Avoid the smaller queen rooms unless you really need economy. Otherwise rooms are clean and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved that we didn't have the morning interruptions maid service. We loved the idea of not having room service and the thought someone could be going through our things. This resort is clean. This resort is quiet, very peaceful! I would love to come back again.

This is where we stay when we visit Key west. Super friendly stuff. We booked a small room, facilities are old but all well maintained. It is 4-5 mins away from main road thus very quiet. Loved the tropical tree there. Highly recommended.

Nice and quaint Keys resort. Location was an easy drive down to Key West. Lovely breakfast and great place to spend a day just enjoying the Florida sunshine

I stayed in one of the smaller rooms, Tuna. The beds were very old and not comfortable at all. The bathroom wasn't super clean but my spouse thought it was fine.

Everything else in the resort was satisfactory and the staff was very friendly! In my opinion this is one of the better economy hotel options in the Keys, where hotel prices are high and quality standards are low.

The room was comfortable, but the location was a bit remote. We waited a bit long too long to eat and struggled to find a place to eat at 9:30.
The resort was sunny and the location gave us a good distance from tourists but also allowed us to explore all of the keys and not just Key West.
