The rooms were great. A beautiful location. Did not get to try any of the amenities due to massive snow event.
Pretty and good scenery and activities around it but they want to sell you something from the time you enter the door to the minute you leave.
The unit we are staying in needs some updates. There was only one wash cloth for a 4 person, 4 night stay. The internet was good. The vanity in Master was long with one sink and a very small mirror and one outlet with only one working one because upper receptacle was something else. This has caused problems. The washer is very hard to access the tub due to having to hold lid up and the dryer, not part of set, above giving adequate access to washer. Rooms were painted dark, so the lights did not give adequate light to rooms. The bedrooms on lower level smelled damp.
Rooms were dated and located on a larger resort owned by a company other than Wyndham. Many amenities were still included, but a special pass was needed to access things like the pool and rec center. Overall the rooms were clean though and fairly comfortable, but not nearly to the quality I've come to expect from Wyndam resorts.
Nice relaxed location, lots of low key family activities. Our 1 bedroom condo is layed out kind of weird and has a pretty gross smell to it though
Beautiful resort, light on the amenities. The area is lovely. But the furniture is uncomfortable and the suites are a bit musty.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Grounds were well maintained. Condos were very outdated but in good working order. It was very clean. The hide a bed was horrid, my son and daughter in law ended up sleeping on the floor because it was so bad. The swimming pool, hot tub and sauna were very nice. Would stay again but plan differently next time. A one bedroom does not sleep four people comfortably. It was easy to find.
Great place if you're looking for some laid back, family-friendly fun.
I have stayed at Wyndham Fairfield Sapphire Valley in the past. I really enjoy coming here. The units are nice, and there's lots to do in the area.
