Just wonderful! We camped right on the creek and it was so relaxing. The staff are friendly. Everyone obeys the 10pm quiet time. The bath house is 10 star. Off the main road and getting back to nature. Just loved it here. Your in the middle of everything if you want to take a short drive to sight see or shop

What a great campsite! Amenities are very clean and campground is maintained perfectly. The staff are more than willing to help you with anything you need. We were beside the creek which was so nice. I can't think of one thing that I would even consider complaining about. I was most impressed with how motorcycle friendly they are. Providing us a safe spot to load and unload our bikes. Even the other campers that we had to inconvenience while doing this were patient and understanding. Thank you so much for your part in making our vacation one of the best we have ever had.

We have enjoyed Moonshine Creek for 20 years. Took our children tent and pop up camper camping when they were little. We spent two weeks there last month in our travel trailer. We Only intended to stay a few nights but enjoyed it so much we didn't want to leave. The owners were so nice and accomadating.
The campground is constantly being improved but manages to maintain its character. So much to do in the surrounding area. Made plans to return soon and spend an entire month there next Summer.

Our visit here was amazing!! Tent camping is our first love, and we've visited many campgrounds across the nationthis past weekend was our first stay at Moonshine Creek. Not only does this one rest in a beautiful location, with the song of the creek running through the property (a must for us) and lush foliage in every direction, but clearly, each and every staff member has the same goal- to be the best. There is no mediocrity here. The bath house is downright high end. Immaculate. I mean immaculate! And are those granite counter tops? Front-loading washer and dryers. And the humble-appearing "out houses" scattered aboutopen the door and be delighted! They are spotless, a very nice bathroom like you'd find at your own house. This is a theme throughout the entire groundsCLEAN, and well maintained. As a bonus, everyone is friendly, accommodating! You'd expect to pay dearly to be treated so well, but their rates were also part of the great experience. We can afford to come back, and we can't wait!! Thank you, Gail, for everything you did to get us an outstanding, last-minute camp site, and for your continued excellent service during our stay. Wish we could offer a rating higher than 5 stars!!

We stayed in July 2017 and really enjoyed this park. After reading many reviews and then staying here I do not agree with the negative reviews. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, even going as far as getting us parked and set up. The grounds are meticulously maintained and bathrooms are some of the best we have seen. The park is a bit tight but more than doable if you can drive. It is in the mountains so they have done the best they can laying it out. Very quite and relaxing with plenty to do around. Will certainly consider staying here again if we are in town again.

We stayed for two nights in a tent in June. This is an excellent site with a lot of love put into it. I'll list the positives and negatives:
    Positives:
    1. You will not find better facilities in a campground. The shower rooms are spotless and even have real stone sinks! If clean facilities are a priority I can't recommend Moonshine Creek enough.
    2. Good clintelle. Everyone around us was having fun and the employees were very nice and helpful.
    3. Good location with every tent site along the fast flowing creek. We loved sleeping to that sound.
    Negatives:
    1. The only negative for me is that most tent sites are not super private. But you trade this for the awesomeness of the creek.

Overall, I highly recommend this campground!

We had a lot of fun our first trip, but after going back a second time we wont return. The staff was nice but the owner was rude to us, invasive of our privacy, and pushy. It felt like we were being watched the whole time during our stay. There are no shortage of nice campgrounds in the area so we'll be staying at some of our other favorites. The bathhouse is nice as they come though.

If you want to stay at a friendly, clean, family friendly campground then this is the place for you. The bathrooms are always clean, the entire campground is always clean. Owners Jim & Dana are very nice and all of the staff that we've encountered have been very helpful. Just pulled out from a 4 day stay. On night two a group of young adults hooted and hollered around their campfire until the wee hours of the morning. Spoke to Jim about this group and everything was fine. This is a very family friendly campground so if you are aiming to party and cut up all hours of the night then it's not for you. Jim and Dana, thank you for opening a campground in our favorite area where we don't have to worry about our three small impressionable kids witnessing all kinds of rookery. We'll be back next year and are looking forward to it!

This campground was the best! Both the site and the bathrooms were very clean. Jim and his wife were very friendly and helpful. We were able to do tent camping right next to the creek. What an awesome sound to sleep too! We will be back and we will bring our friends along.

You can tell the staff really take care of the place. I don't think I saw a single piece of trash laying around. They keep the bathrooms very clean and I was surprised to see how nicely they were decorated. My kids enjoyed splashing in the creek. There are only a couple spots where you can get in the creek but the benches provided were great for relaxing with your toes in the water. Nice mix of tent spots, cabins and rv spots. And my kids liked the swing set. Just be sure to have a pad for your tent or sleeping bag because it was a gravel covered site. Great place to bring your family camping
