This is obviously NOT one of the nicest MOTELS in cherokee
They want you to leave your cat in a carrier when you're not in the room. Very snippy person answering the phone. I wouldn't stay here if I didn't have pets after the smart alleck attitude desk person gave me.response / report this review -

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! If there was less than a 1 star I would give it that. If you have any respect for handicapped, are handicapped, or even remotely care about the handicapped please do not stay here. We booked 2 months in advance and requested the HANDICAPPED option. My father is a DOUBLE AMPUTEE and has no legs. He needs the accommodations of a handicapped room which they advertise as having. Upon arrival, they say they have no fully handicapped rooms!! The owner then began to have an argument with my father about this. The customer service is the worse I have ever seen! Who has the nerve to fight with a handicapped man when they are the ones with the FALSE ADVERTISING!

Great location, easy walk to casio or some of the shops downtown. Quick drive to rest. Good sized rooms for two. Towels/washcloths have some permanent makeup and could stand replacement. Great pool. Easy parking. Friendly staff.

Awesome place except for no exhaust fan in the bathroom. U can smell mildew and hopefully no one has to do number 2.. absolutely the only issue we had. Get exhaust fans and definitely 5 stars with recommendation. Had to edit we stayed 3 days and 2nd day we wanted to exchange our towels for clean dry ones and they said "hang them up they'll be dry tomorrow" el Camino hotel will never see us again besides passing by. ✌

This place is in a great location but really needs some work. The lady at the front desk has her dog in the lobby, which is fine for everyone else but I am allergic. The room was so nasty and dingy and dirty, my skin was crawling. I used the restroom and came out to wash my hands, lifted the towel and there was a roach! An actual roach, not a waterbug like the lady at the front counter suggested. We were refunded our money but don't waste your time. I can deal with the filth but roaches, no thank you.

I love it and it is affordable. The people at the front steps nice. We stayed there last year and the manager is very nice.
