Centrally located to the Newport shopping areas and only a short drive to the mansions. The condo rooms were clean and well approved, with a fridge, stove, and microwave. Staff was friendly and helpful. For the holiday season, they were using machines that pumped out a cinnamon spice scent in the central hallway which was a nice touch.

Great place in a great location. Can't beat the lobster shack across the street and Belle's Cafe a few yards from the hotel. Location can't be beat, it's only a few minute walk to everything food and there is a killer Irish pub right next door

The service here has been fine, no issues to give. The rooms are pretty nice though they are on the small side. The curtains are a bit ripped and the carpet has a lot of stains on it though.

Beware Of Your Check Out Time!!!!!
Rooms are decent and staffs are friendly but the hotel policies are horrendous. As Wyndham schemes you into pressure selling its timeshare, the company is far reluctant to give you any slack on checking out time . At Marriott or other hotels I was always able to negotiate a few hours of late check out , but here at Wyndham , I had to pay 316.00 for a 3 hours late check out.
I could handle that $316 penalty, but it's not a small change for many people . Question is should you patronize a company that doesn't give you any slack. If you stay there please check out on time .response / report this review -

We have heard a lot of great things about Wyndham Long Wharf and were very disappointed. The rooms/suites are beautiful, as are the other ammenities. Parking and location were convenient. However, the linens (pillowcases, towels) didn't look clean and were stained. We had no housekeeping come at all during our stay. We were given one packet of coffee-there were 3 of us there for 3 days- and soaps, coffee, etc. were not replenished after the 1st day, likely because housekeeping never came. For off-season, the cost of stay per night is very high for the inconveniences and lack of services.

Rooms and service are quite nice. Pull out couch was pretty uncomfortable but that's standard. Fantastic location.

Lovely place to go with family. Very spacious suite with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, the lounge area with a fully equipped kitchen was a delight. So well positioned, we could walk everywhere!

The main appeal to this Wyndham is the location. It is right on the water in downtown Newport. It is within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the bus station for those who want to travel the island. The staff is wonderful and the accommodations are very nice. There is no restaurant/bar on site and the pool & pool area are very small, however it still gets 5 stars. I have stayed in several hotels in Newport over the years and this one is by far my favorite.

First off they have a mini movie theater!! All resorts should have these! My family went for a weekend away and had a great time during the day and after coming back from dinner we went to watch a funny movie together. Beautiful view! Had a rooftop area which was too cold for when we visited but we took a look and it was very nice! Also very close to town and easy to walk to anywhere!

I have been going to this hotel every summer ever since I can remember! It is my favorite place in the world. They do awesome crafts with kids, movies available every night! Pool is awesome most of the time, barbecue space is great! Staff is always super helpful and nice! Location can't get any better! I will go here for the rest of my life!
