If you are staying in Newport this is a must. The staff recently helped my love and I celebrate a very special event and it was absolutely perfect! The rooms are gorgeous and luxurious. We stayed in a Grande Suite and the view was incredible and the fireplaces were a wonderful cozy touch. Rafaela made us feel extra special and we would come back just to see her! We also had dinner at The Grill and the food was amazing too! We felt incredibly cared for and welcomed as soon as we entered!

We had the most lovely experience. The service was exceptional, the food was great, and the location was perfect. Rafaela was the sweetest and took care of us throughout our entire time. We can't wait to go back!

The front desk is very laid back and typically just someone with a laptop sitting by the counter or a unassuming desk. Awesome fireplace by the bar as well as your room. We received excellent service. The parking is $30 per day and the valet guys are wonderful. They remembered our car and who we were despite very minimal interactions. It was a wonderful stay and felt worth it if you are splurging a bit on a hotel!

Cool place. Just went for drinks. Ambiance is nice, didn't feel too over the top. Drinks were above average. Would definitely come back here

Had lunch at the Grill out on the pier and it was beautiful! Our server Cean was great; he was super attentive and on top of everything the entire time. The lobster roll was delicious. We also got calamari and some oysters. Both had a very unique taste and it was a nice twist from the usual calamari and oysters you find in the area. The ambiance was nice but there were a lot of kids running around unattended and it was kind of distracting. A member of our party also got a bowl of the clam chowder, which was mostly potatoes and way over priced for the amount you got in the bowl. Overall, we would definitely come back to 41 North for a special occasion. Although pretty pricey, the food was delicious and the service was great!

Are here for a work dinner. The food was excellent and was presented nicely. The staff were friendly and attentive. Nice relaxed atmosphere right in the middle of all the great things to see in Newport.

*Disclaimer: this is only about the nightclub area.
This place could easily get 5 stars but the bar service is awful. My friend and I went here on a Saturday night and stood at the main bar for nearly 30 minutes and none of the 3 bartenders acknowledged us. Finally we ended up going to the half bar which barely had any decent alcohol and paid $22 for a Budweiser and vodka cranberry.
While the atmosphere is nice, the service and drinks sucked, which is the main reason you go out to drink in the first place.

Fabulous staff, beautiful rooms, and the perfect location overlooking the harbor in the heart of Newport.

Food was marginal and way overpriced. There is something to be said for location but the food did not justify the cost. Only 1 of the 3 of us enjoyed our meal. We were there on a slow, fairly dreary day, only 2 other parties there, but still had nearly a 40 minute wait after placing our order. The staff were quite friendly though. Not a restaurant I would send family and friends, much better restaurants right next door. Won't return.

Restaurant - Service was great. Food was seriously outstanding. We were concerned based on past reviews on slow or poor service - but we experienced very attentive, accommodating and informative service. The Rib Eye was fall over in your chair amazing. The seafood tower was the perfect starter for our table of four crisp, fresh and tasty. The linguini carbonara appetizer was delicious. We had a wonderful meal.

Drink service was slow. Alcohol content was inconsistent. "Well done" burger was a hockey puck. Grand tower.was perfect for three people, but at $150, I'd expect a starchy side dish should be included.

$800 for a total dump of a "loft" on par with Motel 6. This is the first 1 star review I've ever left because this one was well earnedkeep reading.

Passing through town I saw photos online and booked on the phone for my family/party of 7 after I was told the available loft was just as nice as their main building.

Not even close. The loft was like an old college dorm with broken AC (they couldn't fix it), bed mattress on the floor, broken doors, no towels -- and you had to climb three flights (no elevator) just to get inside!!

To top it off, they conveniently left out the fact that "room enough for 8" came with 1 bathroom, a dirty one at that.

Upon exit they called me to ask how it went -- I kindly told them I felt like I had been ripped off, and (more importantly) was led to stay in a total dump of an uncomfortable room for my family. I was told "someone in management is going to call you and do something about this." It's been a month now and haven't heard a thing.

My adventure with Forty One degrees north began and ended the same way -- a phone call with assurances that proved completely false.
