Excellent hotel and convention center outside New York City with easy access to Interstate 287. Very clean. Spacious, comfortable lobby. Nice, large rooms. (Go for the King suite.) Very nice sports bar with a fine selection of beer and an acceptable if not outstanding menu. Service in the bar was notably slow on a Sunday night even though it was not particularly busy. I like clean. I like comfortable. This ranked high on the scale. I heartily recommend it.
I attended the Wyndham Hamilton Park Hotel and Conference Center as part of a work holiday function at the Conference Center's Vanderbilt's sports bar. The atmosphere is very nice. They had lotz of tvs playing different games. I'm not sure if it is normally that quite but it was an afternoon on a Friday in December. I hope it picks up more during major sporting events.
I find the rooms to be spacious and well appointed. Beds are very comfortable. All staff is friendly and accommodating. As a return guest they greet you warmly and go out of their way to be helpful. Do group meetings here frequently and it is a great facility, well run with all your needs met. Buffet dining has reduced offerings vs prior years which is disappointing especially if staying several nights. Conference break foods however have a great selection.
Really nice hotel. Out of the way. Provides shuttle for free to local town for shopping and restaurants. Great indoor pool. Beds incredibly comfortable. Fabulous service. Ask for something and they are extremely responsive. Would happily return and recommend.
Rooms were nice, but slightly cramped floodplain. Rest of hotel was also clean and visually appealing, but amenities appeared to be slightly sparse. Good place to attend a conference though
I was not a hotel guest, but did go to the bar downstairs called Vanderbilt's. For a Friday night, it was pretty empty but I've always had a good time playing pool and shuffleboard. Service is good and their fries are pretty decent. No complaints, asides from the fact that there is no cellphone service. Quite bizarre, considering that it's a hotel bar that seems to cater to a lot of business folk. Other than that, I always have a good time here
Came into town for my best friends wedding and stayed here over the weekend. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The hotel amenities were very nice as well. The bar served great drinks and had a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend.
The hotel features some really great amenities not found at the typical business hotels. The fitness area is nearly club quality, and there is an indoor and outdoor lap pool. The food served in the banquet hall and in the social kitchen was all quite good. The conference space was flexible and the snack areas were very good.
The facilities were very nice. Their food was spectacular, however service was limited in the morning. The layout is a tad confusing at first, but the staff easily compensated for it.
This is an older property that they have tried very hard to rehabilitate. The lobby area has been recently renovated, and is very modern and chas a nice, clean design. The rest of the convention center is a bit dated and worn down. The rooms are open enough, but the technology and decor is a bit dated. It was a sufficient facility for our corporate meetings, and the staff tried very hard to ensure we were accommodated properly.
Older Hotel but very nice ..new upgrades ..excellent service, great value. The food is very good onsite, fun cocktail Pub as well. Starbucks! All good.
The renovations are almost complete and this stay was 100% better than my stay in December. The rooms are beautiful, and significantly more comfortable, than my last 10 visits. The mattress felt like a cloud, the air conditioner was quiet, there's a makeup mirror over the sink and there's even a nightlight in the bathroom! The entrance doors are automatic now, lobby layout doesn't leave arrivals standing in the way of people departing and they've added a quick-serve snack bar near the dining room. I've spent dozens of nights here in the past 2 years and this was, by far, the best experience to date. They not only met, but significantly exceeded, every expectation.
So my buddy is getting married and they chose this hotel for the wedding party and guest. Wrong choice, we were suppose to have all the rooms near each other so we could be social and hang out with the wedding party and friends to avoid disturbing others at the hotel, they messed every reservation up and scattered us about the hotel. Then we get there and our room was supposed to be a king size bed and we get two fulls/queens. So we talk to the front desk and they do nothing to accommodate the disaster they have started for the wedding. We stayed at a La Quinta the night before right down the road and it was awesome we were hesitant at first but it was $100 cheaper then this rate at the Wyndham and the room was twice as big and customer service was twice as good! I lost all faith in Wyndham hotels. I won't come back to this one! Be cautious when getting a room here they are incompetent and are guaranteed to mess your reservations up! I used to like Wyndham hotels!
