Enjoyed my stay here. Balcony room with a view of the river walk was very nice , very clean, friendly helpful staff. Ate supper at Bourbon street was very good , a lot of food for the price. Was very happy with everything !
Check-in can be a little slow but the location is great. You can hop on to the river walk from the hotel and across the street is an aw some rooftop bar (Paramour) with phenomenal views of the city at night.
Spotty WiFi with constant need to re-authenticate. Dated design, decor, and furnishings. Lukewarm service - not rude, but they give you that feeling that they’ve seen way too many conference groups (even if you’re a couple on romantic weekend).
Final (laughable) note just as example of service Myself and 71 year old father wanted to grab a nightcap beer at 11:45, and although there were 20+ people still drinking at the bar, they had closed the doors and wouldn’t even serve us as hotel guests suggested we go to *nightclub* across the street with line down the sidewalk.
Stay on the river between downtown and The Pearl. Great restaurant on site with other good food near, on the street and river. Close to museum on the bus line and N.St.Mary's strip is also good for live music and surprisingly good food trucks. Completely walkable very good time.
Very easy checking in. Our room is very comfortable. There is some early morning construction noise as it looks like apartments are being built across the river from the hotel. Nice pool area and deck by the Riverwalk. The location is great and easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Quiet area except for construction.
Really friendly and helpful staff, especially the valets. We asked them for the best directions and suggestions for parking downtown and they were great. The room was nice and the bathroom was great, with a stone walk in shower.
Lets start by saying WOW!! Parking is $18 plus tax! Check in is at 3 we didn't get there until almost 4:30 and our room still was not ready because they hadn't updated their system with available rooms. We finally get a room and they give us a 1 king bed room for 4 guest after i had booked a double queen MONTHS in advance. Unreal we now have to switch rooms and it's now even later! Then while checking out my husband forgot his shoes in the room. We call and they have mysteriously disappeared. Not in the lost in found but the cleaning crew is supposed to clean completely, stated they found nothing. Which is really weird because we know the exact location where they were left. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!! Horrible customer service and horrible experience!
My wife and I stayed for just one night. The room was awesome to us, big room, more than enough space, shower was great, the desk was good. Flat screen tv was big enough. Room service was nice. Reception desk men and women were friendly, patient and very communicative. The price was right for the time we stayed in June 2017. We will go back again.
Very satisfied with the stay.
Although the location is about one mile away from busy Riverwalk area, it is still a good walk to all the tourist attractions. We purchased "City Sightseeing hop-on / hop-off" tickets in advanced as one of the stops is right in front of the hotel. Very convenient to visit most attractions in downtown busy areas. 24 hr complimentary coffee (Seattle's best) is a huge plus for us. :)
They do offer self-parking area for $18+tax/day, $22+tax/day for Valet parking, but street parking spots (free) are not very hard to find.
Will definitely stay again if we ever come back to SA.
This hotel is so misleading to have Riverwalk in the name. It's so far from the main popular areas of the Riverwalk. The bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab. We went in November to see the Riverwalk Christmas parade. We had to walk down to the other Wyndham (that still isn't in the main area) to see the parade. The hotel is not in a good safe area and you have to PAY to park. I have to say I was pretty disappointed.
Great hotel. We are at Bourbon Street for our office party. Food was awesome. Parking not convenient
Had a great time. Jacob at the front was very friendly and helpful the day we checked in. We decided to self park which is across the street the first night. The next morning we found out the car next to us was broken into. Decided to change to valet. Jacob again changed everything for us. The Jazz Café is great we went aCart and order tacos. They were made fresh as you ordered. The restaurant is also very good. All the staff is very friendly and willing to help.
Decent location, about a mile walk to main ethereal area. Riverwalk is right out back door. Easily found street parking so it was free to park instead of the hotels $18 charge per night. Nice rooms, great water pressure in the showers.
A large group of us celebrated a birthday at the restaurant (Bourbon Street). The food was fantastic. The waitress was great. So as we were getting ready to cut the cake we asked for some plates and forks and were told it was going to be $1 a plate. We were all surprised because we had never heard of this it seemed like nonsense to us. Well they did make it right so we were happy. This is just a warning for anyone else who might want to bring in their own birthday cake.bring disposable plates and utensils of your own. Also, they do have free valet parking for their guest at the restaurant and at the hotel. Parking is pretty terrible you have to parallel park for the most part on the street if you don't valet. All in all it was a nice experience. I will definitely be back!!!
