This is a great local hardware store, that has just about everything a homeowner could need. Plants, screws, tools. They have helpful staff as well, one of them actually called me when my wife accidentally locked her keys in the car so I could come help.

So happy for the kids to have a sprinkle park for hot days and to have place to be a kid. As for the activity that takes place on the other side of the street - needs more replanning efforts. Clean park but negative activity. That activity shouldn't be near children at play.

Each time that I've visit this store it has proven to be very useless as far as service is concern. This time on March 25, 2021 at or around 12pm there was only one person in the entire establishment to assist me and they were busy at the time. That will be my last visit.

Well it’s Christmas time and we’re always looking for that special gift. I’m online, and find the perfect gift for my boyfriend.. It’s a Redskin toolbox. I called every Ace in the DMV, no one has it. Then I call the Woodley Park Ace Hardware branch. This lady, was awesome! The manager her name is Selena (hope I’m saying right) was awesome. Telephone customer service skills off the charts. Friendly, Kind, courteous A-1. She told me they didn’t have it in the store. By the way, it’s Tuesday but she assured me it would be there on Thursday. Selena my hats off to you may God bless you and Merry Christmas.

I used t love this place. Until I had some house keys duplicated. They were done wrong; so bad that they damaged the lock and I had to spend big bucks to have a locksmith come in and rekey the lock.

This ACE is the best! They sell so many items (e.g., dish soap and plants) that are a nice to pick up on my way home. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

This really is the helpful hardware place. The staff greets you as you step in, asks if you need help, and means it--even if you are only purchasing a handful of nuts and bolts (which I have). They do not have all of the products and all of the services that the Ace Hardware in Cleveland Park does, but the staff is great and the store is within walking distance for me, which make them my favorite hardware store.

Great local hardware store that employs people and either trains them or let's them gather some expertise. I went in looking for a small set of stainless steel washers (maybe $1 worth of parts) which would have taken an hour and endless searching and explanation for a HD robot. Took 10 seconds for someone to show me the wide selection, cost a dollar. Will go back for any other sundries I need. Support this type of business, when it's gone you'll miss it.

I bought a once-returned drill from the Ace Hardware in Woodley Park that was supposedly returned for being the wrong model in the box. It turns out it didn't work at all, but when I returned it, they refunded my purchase and gave me a new drill for free. The manager was a great help and took time out to get me set up with all I needed. If anyone needs any hardware, plants, or grilling equipment, I recommend you check them out.
