This site is not open to the public for recycling of any kind. You must go to the Sutro transfer station. Even Waste Management customer service is not aware of this as I called them to confirm that the location was open.
I then had to go to the Sutro Transfer station, wait in line and it went into the pit instead of being recycled.response / report this review -

Same as the other bad reviewsi was "warned" that if my can wasn't shut all the way i would be skippedby the way it was slightly opened! These guys really take advantage of us just because there's no other company.

Charged my small business $80 because my lid would not shut all the way. In 8 years, I've never been notified. I did not know "the rules", and did not receive a warning on the charge. Was forced to up my service or pay the $80. Could have put it out as extra waste with a sticker and would have not been charged, if I had been given a warning. Very disappointed in the customer service rep.

Just went here on 3/21/2019 and was informed by the helpful staff that they don’t take recycling anymore. They told me to go to the Waste Management on East Commercial Row.

Waste Management picks and chooses when they will collect trash, and on what terms, despite being paid in advance. I have gone two weeks without collection! Last week they pasted up collecting my can, and this week they claimed the van was overfilled, even though there was an excess sticker on the bag showing. WM has no competition here in the Reno/Sparks area, and they completely take advantage of their customers!!!!
