I was seen in the emergency room on Christmas day for being in extreme pain for a previous surgery. The staff and medical personnel were all very professional. Along with personell in the eurology department.
Thank you all for taking care of me.

My wife gave birth to our second son here. I really think that the whole maternity ward was nicely staffed and the accommodations were on part.

This is the worst hospital ever. We got to the ER at 11:40 pm. it is now 2:40 am. We got pulled back into the actual rooms and are still not being seen. What was the point of being called in if we have been waiting 30 minutes with no doctor contacting us. We are in our room so long with no one assisting us that the janitor opened our curtían and apologized because she had no idea anyone was there. The women are all chit chatting and giggling about Taco Bell and their experiences there and how greasy it was. Meanwhile still waiting for my husband to be seen. Walked all the way in the back and every single room is empty. Wonder why it took two hours to get called in the first place. We were told “just in case an ambulance came they needed a room” there are about 15 empty rooms for an ambulance to choose from. Needless to say the staff sucks and is full of excuses. No sense of urgency in the EMERGENCY ROOM
AND ANOTHER THING. Your arm could be falling off and they would recommend TYLENOL AND MOTRIN. I just heard a doctor here tell the patient he wouldn’t remove his cyst that he just needs to go to his PCM even though they removed it last time in the ER. Lol he said “I’m not gonna remove that here come on man I’m not going to do that” pretty sure it’s doctor Cohan. He sucks.response / report this review -

Gave birth to my daughter here a few years ago, the staff was excellent throughout the whole delivery process. We are having our second child here, huge relief that we pcsd back here because the hospital near fort drum was absolutely horrible. Looking forward to another amazing birth.

Took my daughter to the er one night (1.5 year old). Although they were very friendly, they still couldn't "see a problem". My daughter had a temp of 105, vomiting, no wet diapers, and not enough energy to even cry. We were sent home. I took her to her pediatrician the next day as a follow up and Dr Q, who has been with my daughter since birth, found (in less than 5 minutes) an upper respiratory infection, an ear infection, and she was dehydrated! I'm not a fan of the er, but the pediatrics is the best group of people I have ever met! They listen to me, make sure my daughter is happy, and they do their jobs very well. The 3 stars given are all for the pediatrics.

Recently visited the ER. I was treated like I was faking my eye injury by the receptionists. They asked me if it was "really that serious". Na it's just my eyesight that I'm worried about. After they called me back the treatment was fantastic. In and out very quick. With the exception of the receptionists, which is what I have come to expect when dealing with civilians on base, it was a solid experience.

My first encounter here wasn't so nice due to one bad apple. I seen her yesterday at my most recent visit and luckily I did not have to deal with her. I am pregnant and was seen by a PA (long) he was amazing. I am a hard butt when it comes to reviews but these people do their job. My husband has had to come twice do to an allergy emergency and was taken care of right away. The first time it was terrible so I am knocking off a star but ever since the customer service has been amazing. I am highly impressed. I hated army doctors because of what I dealt with at Fort Hood but these people have changed my mind. Thank you.

Called the line the nurse gave me for my test results sooo many times and again the day after was on hold for almost 20 min everytime. No one picks up they're always "assisting other people"..

Most nurses care, dr dont try hard enough at night and they do not take care of your families. You get morning sickness when pregnant and they give you waternot the med you know you need. Worthless.

In October of 2016 I was able to receive PRK eye surgery for my myopia. The staff were skilled at their job, I had no complications from the operation, and follow up appointments were of little hassle. Since Fort Stewart is seeking to expand the optometry department and service more patients per year, I recommend service members and their families to pursue corrective surgery.

Medical staff make mistakes wherever you go, as everyone and every case is a little different but so far I have no complaints with the quality or care from the doctors here. Husband fell ill and after getting poor care at other facilities and with worsening symptoms he went to the emergency here. Got prompt care from a whole team of medical staff and a more reasonable diagnosis. Left the hospital after a short operation few hours and was immediately feeling better. Long term care has been exceptional.

Glad my family doesn't have to deal with these clowns. Told my wife she wasn't in labor. Went to PX, returned after an hour of walking. Told us, if we keep checking, she could get infected Aren't you using sterile gloves??
Went hour, 30 min later, water broke. Got to hospital, 10 min later we had a girl. False labor my ass!response / report this review
