I came in at 6pm with my 2 year old son who had a temperature of 103.9. There was only one person ahead of us when we arrived. There were 5 people who came in after us & they were all seen/called to the back before us. When I asked why, the answer was because "they don't have a room available for him" Here it is 3 hours later & were still waiting. Smh please don't waste your time here, the entire establishment is very unprofessional.

I've been to Emory, Northside, Gwinnett and now Vidalia is Meadows memorial. Excellent and very friendly staff, very clean and I felt safe and at home :-). thank you everyone and thank you Dr. Williams!

Horrible experience in the ER. Was taken there my ambulance. When I got that my BP was 66/54. They got my BP up. Vitals were stable but I had horrible bloody diareha. Not only once but three times. I had to leave like that wearing two gowns. I lived over an hour away. When I asked if they were going to admit me they said NO as my vitals were fine. I won't even drive through their parking lot. I would have gotten better care at an animal hospital. When I got home I had to call an ambulance again. Was taken to the local hospital where they admitted me and stayed for 6 days. I will file a formal complaint.

I would just like to put my anger out there about Meadows Regional Medical Center or Vidalia Hospital— whatever you wanna call it. My brother, Hunter, has been sick for months (since right before Thanksgiving '2016')— and we could not figure out what was wrong with him. We took him to the emergency room multiple times! The first time I took him, he had just gotten out the shower + he thought he was dying. He was losing his vision, sight, and hearing. The doctors told him oh you just got to hot— that's normal. The second time we took him, they basically told him he were crazy, and there was nothing wrong with him. The third time they did a stomach x-ray + told him he was constipated, and that he bad anxiety. They put him on constipation meds and anxiety medication. However, that helped slightly with dealing with what was wrong with him, but it was still not helping. Last night, he thought he was going to pass out + felt like he was dying again. Lately, he hasn't been able to breathe good at all. My mom took him to the hospital in Metter. The hospital done some tests, and they told him he has pneumonia + he's had it for a while! Now, we're praying that it hasn't damaged his lungs. Meadows regional needs to upgrade. So ridiculous! How hard is it to figure out that someone has pneumonia?!? He had all the symptoms cough and/or mucus drainage, fever, fast breathing and the shortness of breath, shaking chills, fast heartbeat, feeling tired and very weak, nausea, diarrhea, and confusion and/or delirium. My brother could be dead right now because of them! He is surely blessed to be alive, especially after having pneumonia for 8 months!!!

If you could please keep my brother in your prayers, I would be greatly appreciative! Thank you!

They have horrible bedside manner. And they have not a clue what they are doing when it comes to children. The nurses and practitioners are much nicer than the actual doctors

I was so shocked by the staff they did everything I needed and made sure me and my baby was cared for the entire stay and dr. G Cabe was amazing I can't thank them all enough will definitely have my next baby in Vidalia.

My grandpa as en elder has developed problems over the last decade. With spending short times over the years in different hospitals with him, we recently decided to come here. I cannot begin to describe how wonderful this place is. Professional, caring and quick service for days. They never gave my grandpa a dull moment. They diagnosed him with things no other hospitals had and he's finally doing really well. If every hospital in the country was at least 70-80% of this place you'd have a lot of love for doctors and hospitals.
