The price to get in is kind of expensive, especially if you are a family visiting. The rules for apple picking and what your ticket includes isn't very clear. The farm animals were friendly and fun to feed. The caramel apples they make are really delicious and over all had a fun time but wish the rules for what my ticket included were more clear. If you don't want to drive far and you are in Ypsi, this place is okay but expensive because there is a fee to get in and then when you are inside, you have to spend more money for other things if you choose to do them.

I went to Wiards because I saw they had U-pick pumpkins. God, what an ordeal, I should have just gone to a supermarket to get a pumpkin. All I wanted to do was pick a pumpkin from the patch. In order to so, I had to pay for the county fair. I don't have any kids so this did not interest me. I ended up getting two pumpkins for my boyfriend and I that we had to carry through their store since they have it set up so you walk through the whole store. As I was paying for the pumpkins I wanted to get a ticket for a warm donut but they only sell them as half dozen or dozen. I asked the cashier for a cart and the poor girl pushed the cart through the line of people when she could have went a shorter route. I am from the Macomb county area and there are far better and less crazy orchard/cider mills over there. If I had kids I guess this would be fun. The U-pick pumpkins/apples should be a separate fee for people like me who don't have kids but want to have a cute date with their boyfriend.

Excellent place for children and apple lovers. Anything that's made with apples, Wards Orchard has it. Pick your own apples or pumpkins. Take a hay ride. Dress for comfort and enjoy a day at Wards Orchards. You'll love it.

Don't waste your money and believe me it will cost you a lot to visit this orchard, such a ripoff. First of all lets start with the $17.95 per person to enter. I have never been to an orchard that charges you to enter and then charge you for every activity there after. I have been to other orchards where you enter for free and pay a small fee if you do any activities. By time you pay the entrance fee and all the activities, donuts, cider, etc.. it will cost a family of four about $100.00. Trust me there are many other orchards locally that are nicer and a heck of a lot cheaper. This place just see's dollar signs. sad

Always enjoy going to Wiards Orchard for there Fresh Carmel 🍎, I stay away from the Donuts and Cider. Would eat to much. They also have a Fair, Petting area, Hayride and a Corn Maze..So come and enjoy and have Fun. Call Wiards Orchard for all information.

Really nice but it's very open and easy to get lost. Just make sure you keep up with your kids because you can lose them very fast. Lot of walking so be prepared and we'll rested before you go to this place. The stores in the front left and most of everything is in the back right side . The Hey Ride is just that you don't get off and pick pumpkins or Apples you just ride around the back part of the Pumpkin Patch & that's it. For apples and pumpkin you have to walk to it and their in two separate rows right next to each other so you pick your apple & pumpkin than go to the barn and pay for it. Few playground for the kids 💗💘💘💋💋😌Thanks for reading and have fun. The staff were friendly

Everything about this place is amazing. From it's pristine condition to the 200 of years of it being in the wonderful Wiards Family. A truly special and unique place to create wonderful memories whether it be a family outting with your children, a first date, or a day out with your friends and family. There is something for everyone. An absolute must see and the adventure of a lifetime.

The Country Fair is great very pretty small kids. It's pricey though! Great haunted houses and cider mill donuts. The hay ride is so-so.

Good experience. A lot of activities for kids to do. We spent several hours there and didn't see /do nearly everything. I would block off the whole day next time. Cider and donuts were good, but I'm used to the flavor profile of a different cider place so it didn't top my favorite.

Went both in the day and night. Me and my boyfriend went to do the haunted mine shaft and I couldn't see and when I said something I got yelled and then they left us in a dark narrow hallway in the middle of the thing thankfully a tech person saved us. Besides that it's all good and the hay ride of the lost is fun if you're on the right side if not you don't see or get to experience much.
