My go to lunch spot. Conveniently located, and great outdoor seating area. The prices are great. These aren't traditional tacos by any stretch, but I think that's why I like them so much.

Love this spot, WDTS has a very chill atmosphere, friendly staff, and on top of that: unique and tasty tacos. I would recommend this spot to anyone who enjoys good food. And it's not too pricey, so double win!

[Warning: Young adults from Central Florida in for vacation] This was hands-down MY FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT IN ASHEVILLE. I’ve been to many (all kinds) of taco places in many places, but this one boasted the most UNIQUE FLAVOR COMBINATIONS-- AND DONE VERY, VERY WELL! My favorite was the Pork Belly Taco-- the pork belly inside was so soft yet full of meaty and soy flavor which complemented the crunchy and sour pickled watermelon rind. Another great one was filled with duck roasted in mole sauce and topped with an apple salsa (Seriously, who thought of that combo?) which was also delicious. There are also MANY GLUTEN-FREE CHOICES. This is a LOW-PRICED AND FILLING MEAL. It’s also in a great location-- walking distance to many artist galleries and studios.

We stopped here on our honeymoon in 2014 and have been obsessed ever since! We finally made it back this October while driving through NC and somehow the food was even better.
My personal favorites are the buffalo chicken taco and he fresh salsa trio. My husband loves the shrimp. All the ingredients are super fresh and delicious. Plus the prices are awesome. It's definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.response / report this review -

Always a go to spot. Great tacos. Haven't had an "okay" one yet. Be sure to be a little adventurous and try something you normally might not! You won't regret it

Changed my life. Best tacos ever, I want to eat the entire menu. Between my boyfriend and I we had the Korean bulgogi, Thai peanut chicken, lamb gyro, mole duck, a side of cheesy grits and the Mexican chocolate pot de creme. There was nothing I wouldn't order again, or eat at least twice a week. I am definitely coming back to try the pork belly and shrimp and grits taco. I live 2 hours away but would make the drive happily to eat this amazing food every week. Thanks for being awesome.

Just superb tacos. Definitely in the gourmet category versus the taco truck in a strip center, but still a great value considering the quality of ingredients and flavors. Service was fast and pleasant. I can personally recommend the mole duck and pork belly.

The line was long and I was going to leave. But it seemed to be moving fast so I stayed. First off I am not much of a taco person. But this place had a ton of positive reviews. So I gave it a shot. Let me tell you this place can make some Tacos. I bought about 6 just to try each of them with no intention of eating them all. Just tasting them. The Pork Belly was amazing. Probably one of the best tacos I have had. The Mole Duck was great as well. The duck got a little lost in the mix. But the flavor profile of this is worth it. The Lamb was excellent also. If I lived in the area. I would probably come here at least once a week. The staff is great and they seem to be busting their butt the entire time to keep everything running fast. This place is awesome.

Tucked away in an out of the way location. Nothing fancy, but worth seeking this place out. Food was excellent. Good selection of beverages. Enjoyed the mole' roasted duck tacos! Reasonable prices. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly local crowd.

Very quick place to get a bite to eat. Don't be intimidated by a line as they move people through very quickly. If it is your first time eating here, be aware that the building is not well marked from the street. There is a small black flag with a white duck on it. That is all you will see from the road, so don't pass it. The food itself is delicious. It is tacos, and they are great. Most of the seating is outside, so it may not be the best place to go on a rainy day. The staff is friendly and very quick. It is a very casual place, it is dog friendly, it has gluten free options, but I'm not sure if it is vegan/vegitarian friendly.

Inventive tacos in a revitalized area of Asheville. Plenty of outdoor seating. Dog friendly. Great casual place for a quick lunch or dinner. Abundant parking. Local beers available.

Read the reviews and wanted outside and dog friendly so we tried it. The tacos are very imaginative and very good. Highly recommend trying it and sampling a few different tacos.

Love their food. Pork belly taco, Korean beef taco, shrimp taco are my favorites. No frills kind of place. Don't expect to be catered too by staff or to just hang out for a beer. Just expect great tacos.

This is a good taco shop but there are better ones in Asheville. White Duck is on par with other taco shops on price and quality. Two taco's should make a nice lunch. If you are looking for heat or authenticity, this is not the place.

I was here last night with one of my friends. I ordered the bahn mi taco and the lamb gyro taco. Both were absolutely fantastic! I felt like I was bouncing back and forth between 2 countries while sitting down. The flavor profiles of the tacos were very legit, similar to the food that you would get at a Thai and a Greek restaurant. The atmosphere was great. Very lively. We were greeted and treated very well by the people that work here. The food came out fast as well! Excellent work!!
