The atmosphere was great, seemed fun, but there is more to a dining experience than that. The hostess was nice and we were seated right away. Once we were seated it took 10 minutes for the waitress to come by for drinks. Another 10 minutes we were able to order food. Then another 30 and the food finally came. Our meals were not worth the price. I’m not sure how you mess up chicken tenders, but Whiskey River succeeded in that. Everything was bland, dry, and unimpressive portion sizes. Even the Pepsi was flat.

Went for lunch on Saturday with my husband and another couple while in town for a Panthers game. We were seated 15 minutes before our server finally came to our table. The restaurant really wasn't even busy. There were four bartenders and most ppl were seated at the bar. When our waitress came for our order (ten minutes after taking our drink order) she told us that if we ordered fries with our meal, they might come out as tater tots because "the kitchen does that a lot." We were tempted to walk out and really wished we did. The wings were not good, the blue cheese was awful, and the ranch even was water-like. The sandwich my husband ordered was only filled halfway with meat. We will never go back. Any of the four of us. And what's worse is this was the second time my husband I tried this place. We walked out our first time two years ago after waiting 15 minutes for a drink.

Great sit down option in CLT. Fast friendly service and a nice selection of menu items. Fully stocked bar as well. Would recommend if you are flying through Charlotte airport and are near/in terminal E

Went in to eat dinner last night before the Hornets game. We were seated 15-20 minutes before our server came. Two other servers kept walking by. When we finally got to order I went to order the brisket and the server said not to because it wasn’t very good since they didn’t have a smoker. I appreciate the honesty of the server but why have something on the menu for $16 that you can’t make well. 10 minutes later and still no drinks at the table. We walked out and went to Firehouse because we didn’t have time at that point to sit down anywhere else. I have only walked out of a place once before and that was a Dennys. Maybe this place should stick to being a late night bar and not advertise “lunch and dinner”.

A group of 10 people walked in. They were very unpleasant because of our race and ethnicity. And the guy who operates the bull was expecting a tip and did not let us ride on it because we did not offer him a tip. This place is not good at all. Worst people and service. Spoiled our mood. Usually I don’t write negative reviews, but today I had to write. I have never faced racism my whole life. Here comes an experience for life. I hate this place. Neither me or my friends will ever go to this place again.

We ordered the buffalo shrimp turkey club. As an appetizer ordered the artichoke dip. French fries came with the Turkey club and the buffalo shrimp.
The buffalo shrimp for lukewarm the french fries the same the turkey club was mediocre at best. We sent the buffalo shrimp back and didn't order anything else replace it with. The meal was just awful not to mention that it took forever to get it that's why everything was at best lukewarm. And the establishment was just not that busy to Warrent such a lousy Meal!!!. GEZ I could go on and on. I just suggest that you pass this place up. The only thing great about it was the disappointment. Robert Gonzalez I was visiting from Florida

Stopped in from out of town. Caught some college football. Got our drinks quickly and the staff was very friendly. As far as the waitress attire, Hooters is way worse, if your offended by beautiful girls bodies. They wore tshirts and Jean shorts. Just like any other sports bar. Didn't get food. So. This was just a review of the atmosphere. Good time. We will come back for sure.

SO My friends and I were suppose to see a movie on Tuesday night well the movie was sold out so we then went to Whisky River and this place was so much fun!!!! Great music! Great drink pricing! Had a beer pong tournament going on and everything was nice plenty of room to dance. I want to go back every night just to dance and have fun! We will deff. be back!

Ate at rhe Charlotte
NC restaurant 6-18-17. The woman seating us seemed uninterested in seating us. The table was sticky, so I wiped it with some baby wipes, they were black with dirt. The sweet potato fries were greasy and under were done. I could not eat the mystery meat hamburger it was tasteless.

If I could not give any stars, I would. I waited at a table for more than 20 minutes and not one server came over, even after hitting the server button, sought out to give me service. I watched as 3 other people were served. Now I understand why they only have 2.9 stars. If the service isn't good, then the food must be horrible. If you want a recommendation, don't go here. I'm sure there are others who have had the same experience.

The service was not ideal. It appeared the bar-backs were doing all the work as the bartenders were standing around talking and playing on their phones. It was easy to see how frustrated they were just by the look on their face.

We decided to eat at the bar because it was a long wait for a table. The bartender was very nice but it took 40 minutes to get one of the three items we ordered. Then another 20 minutes to get the second. After an hour and 10 minutes we decided to give up on the wings. The bartender didn't charge us for the shrimp app which was nice because they weren't worth paying for. This place is not worth the aggravation of parking in the garage, won't go back!!
