Fantastic menu for freshly prepared high quality dining experience. Scallops were cooked perfect and the flavors were well balanced. Absolutely delicious.

Nice spot for a leisurely lunch. Really friendly staff and the food was excellent. Beer selection, while not huge, was good.

Whisknladle is one of my favorite San Diego staples. They've been a constant fixture in La Jolla for the past 10 years and their food and service never disappoint! My favorite item is the Pink Lady Apple Salad - it's so fresh and always in season! I also love that they are launching brunch every day of the week. Now I will be here all the time!

Very nice dining with a somewhat rich foods on menu albeit with unique selections. But the outdoor eating areas are amazing.

Absolutely loved my meal here. First time dining at Whisknladle and I would definitely recommend/go back again. My favorite thing that I ordered was the summer salad. It was very fresh and light yet had a delicious flavor. Great thing to start off with. I also really enjoyed the blueberry basil sorbet. If you're looking for a refreshing dessert, this is the one. All around great meal, atmosphere and service.

Came here when they first opened on a Thursday morning. We ordered the cheeseburger and fish tacos, along with a mimosa and Bloody Mary. Drinks were made very well and tasted great. The cheeseburger tasted great. It was cooked very well, nice and juicy. The fries that came with the burger tasted great, nice and crispy. My fiancé had the tacos. She loved them. The fish was seasoned and cooked really well. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch

Excellent service. Creative offerings. Fresh ingredients. Tasty dishes. 3 most critical elements for a successful restaurants. Warning** Unfortunately you will get very loud pre-Madonna like patrons (yes you young ladies) that drink booze like water and think they are alone in the place. So loud. Not much you can do.

I usually don't post these :) but I had to say something: this place had the best dinner I have ever tasted. Got the calamari shrimp pasta and it was creamy, full of flavor and really inventive without sacrificing taste. It was absolutely amazing. My date had the ravioli and he also was happy. The best place to eat in La Jolla.

Fabulous restaurant! The food is fresh and the service is excellent. I have never had anything less than a fantastic and delicious experience here. Try their charcuterie board and ask for the muscles if you don't see them on the menu (they don't always have them).

Service, food, atmosphere all outstanding. I went for a late breakfast and the French Toast was ace Amazing!!!! I'm sure the cocktails (which are very creative looking at the menu) and lunch/dinner are just as good. 5/5.

I've been here twice now, once for brunch and once for a late lunch.

The portions here are sometimes small.
My dad ordered the salmon and while he doesn't eat much he was rather disappointed and proceeded to eat McDonald's to sate the rest of his hunger.
I ordered the chilaquiles, great size and taste.

Quality of the food is always good!

    No complaints about the service.

I liked that customers are able to go fill their own coffee cups during brunch. :)
This is especially nice for me because I don't like bothering my waiters too much, and like to keep my coffee either full or at a certain temperature.
