The best meal we’ve ever experienced and we do mean experience. This was our “special” spend while on visit to San Diego.
He had the crab cake & swordfish. I had the brussel sprout/artichoke salad with basaltic & pomegranate and the abalone.
Can’t say enough about this wonderful restaurant, great staff and great pics taken from the bank of windows over the bay.
A definite for our next trip!!!

Mike was our server for the evening and his service was the precedent of quality. Thank you for the attentiveness, recommendations, and kindness. The food was spectacular as always but this time our night was made even more especially by the personality of the hour, Mike. Plus, the man can make a cocktail well so can't beat that. We will for sure be coming back in hopes we see Mike again for further drinks and dinner recommendations and the sheer banter of the evening. Cheers Mike.

Have been coming here for quite some time The food is always fresh tasty! I typically get the seared Yellowfin Tuna, which has evolved over time Tonight it was very good but I still miss that sauce from many years back . My husband ordered the Striped Sea Bass, which was good but pretty pricey for a six ounce piece of fish and some veggies. Waitress was on the ball and the view was lovely as usual. Would definitely recommend for tourists and native San Diegan's alike.

Excellent views and seafood cuisine. A little toasty if seated out nearest the harbor. Late afternoon, when sun hits the windows , best to stay further inside for comfort. Food was excellent a bit pricey but given the location and the restaurants cost to just be at this prime location is worth it. Staff was caring and polite and went out of their way to make you comfortable and your experience was memorable.

The food, drinks, and service were great. Watching the sunset from the enclosed patio (with open windows) was spectacular!

We wanted to take an out-of-town friend to a special place in San Diego that also had a view. Top of the Market did not disappoint! The view of the harbor (and sunset) were perfect. The entire staff was friendly, attentive and professional. The drinks, wine and menu selections from appetizers to dessert were wonderful!

We were looking for a seafood restaurant on the harbor, and this one is above the Fish Market. We opted for this one just so we'd have a higher view, and i don't think think there's a bad seat in the place. Great views of the bay. The service is great, team effort, but our server was excellent! We ordered the shrimp cocktail appetizer which only included 3 shrimp, so he suggested adding a 4th. Great idea, I've never been to a restaurant where they did that. Sure we were charged for it, but at least he asked. No picking at that one last oddball shrimp. The menu was great, and so was the food. We had tuna and halibut, beautifully and tastefully prepared. The wine menu is great and our server was very knowledgeable on the wines. When it came to dessert, I ordered the chocolate cake and joked that I always like the "chocolate brownie with ice cream", to which he offered to add ice cream. Great idea! Again, it was added to the bill but at least he was thoughtful enough to offer. We enjoyed a 2 hr dining experience and chatted with our server about wines, and he bought a sample for us to try. If you believe you get what you pay for, you need to try this place!

My family and I came here for a nice dinner while on vacation. The food was amazing. The oysters are served with unique ice sauces that I have never seen elsewhere. All the food was amazing, and the service was spectacular.

Great food, great service, great view, and a very nice place to eat. The prices are reasonable for the quality of dinning experience delivered. My only recommendation is to drive a small car here because the parking places are the smallest I've ever seen.

My husband and I went here for our 10 year anniversary on New year's Eve. When we booked the reservation, I told the event planner about the occasion. Usually nice restaurants will make a note of that too make sure you have a special evening, but I guess my expectation was too high there. The food and cocktails were both very good. Service was good. Everything was pretty much just good, but nothing really struck me as great or worthy of 5 stars, except maybe the cocktails.
