This Shogun is part of a small Southern California steak restaurant chain. While I don't know how old it is, the external and inside appearance imply it has been there many years. I ordered the seafood combo ($25) which came with generous portions of shrimp, salmon and a few scallops. The salmon and scallops were excellent while the shrimp were a bit overcooked. The usual soup, grilled veggies and rice were included as was an entertaining grilling display. The service was good though, curiously, my menu was so worn out that I had to borrow my wife's.

Great servers and entertainment. I love the hibachi, but the sushi was great quality too. The server was funny and added jokes about local places. The thing that stood out the most is the quality of meat and seafood that they served. The cuts were marbled and large. The scallops were giant. The chef cooked the meat to perfection and the meal was outstanding.

This place is good and sometimes bad. And it's not so much the place other than our cook was drunk to the point that he almost couldn't put his knife back in the sheath on his side. Spilled beer all over me. Didn't do any of the show which that's okay I really don't care about that I just like good food. Went back another time after and it was very good. Definitely try it for yourself.

The food is great and the show is amazing. I had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. Our chef was amazing. Highly recommended if you're in the mood to be amazed.

Always a fun place to take the family. Kids enjoy watching the food prepared right in front of them. Quality of food is as good as Benihana but their sauces are a little different. I find the prices here are more reasonable as well.

For the prices, I would expect better service. We had to get our own utensils from a basket, paper napkins, and the chef's accent was impossible to understand.

How is going pretty good show out of Shogun when we do the big meal. I like it a little bit better than Benihana's

The food was greatand fresh! We were planning to sit in the teppan area but the wait was long and we were hungry! We went to the sushi bar instead and what a great idea! Our food was really good and the service was great. I ordered the salmon, shrimp, and vegetable tempura combination along with a California roll. The only problem I had was not taking a picture before I induldged!

Chef didn't clean the grill before he started. Waitresses didn't clear off empty plates from appetizers. Bathrooms were dirty, carpets look gross. Entire place is run down. Go to Benihana, it's better.

This place rocks! Benihanna on a budget but kind of better. The staff is fantastic. The chefs are always coming up with creative new ways to entertain and the food is always on point!

This is a really fun restaurant, especially if you have a group. Tables seat 10, so you may have to wait for your table to (mostly) fill before ordering. It's a chance to converse with strangers while a griller prepares your food in front of you, often with a little humor and a few tricks. The food is tasty, but can be overly salty and greasy at times, depending on who's preparing your food. Don't skimp on the extra $2 for the fried rice - it's well worth it. Sushi bar and full bar available.
